Raquel Alucard is an artificial vampire, the adopted 'daughter' of Clavis Alucard and the master of Naoto Kurogane. She is also the ¨step sister¨ of Rachel Alucard, the current head of the Alucard clan. She is a straightforward young woman who seeks the Azure, a mythical artifact hidden within the black dimension known as The Boundary, which can grant any people's wishes. Although she seldom shows it, Raquel is rebellious and has a kind heart, although she will often get confused at anything informal. Background: Raquel was created when a user of Soul Eater, a powerful weapon capable of absorbing human souls, went havoc and killed hundreds upon thousands of people. Clavis Alucard stopped the user and killed him, but was forced to take the lives of 128,932 people in order to do so. When this happened, he held an Embryo. An Embryo is an artificial construct which has the ability to become anything. It is essentially a crystallisation of the Azure that is only created from thousands of amassed souls. Three years later, the Embryo became Raquel and she was born. The Embryo manifested most likely sensing Clavis' wish to have a second daughter, aside from his daughter Rachel Alucard, and that's how Raquel was born. When Raquel awoke, she was inside a coffin with Clavis looking down upon her. He named her and in the first months of her life, he taught her everything he knew. In the months afterwards, he connected her spirit to the Boundary and she gained even more knowledge. This caused Raquel great pain until it finally ended. When she turned 2, Raquel ran away from the Alucard Castle and made her way to Shin Kawahama City, Japan. She began to search for the Azure, being naturally drawn to it, and was being chased down by Clavis and his servants. She ran past a guy and entered an abandoned district in her attempts to flee. The guy followed after her and got in the way of one of Clavis' servants. Raquel smacked the guy for commenting on her chest size, and the servant grabbed her by the throat. She saw the guy run away, and she let slip a smirk, remembering what Clavis had once said about human nature. However, the guy came back and hit the servant over the head with a fire extinguisher, killing it. Unfortunately, a bug erupted from the man and cut the right arm off of the guy. In order to save his life, Raquel bit him, and made him her servant. She learned from biting the guy that his name was Naoto Kurogane, and took him back to his apartment. When he awoke, she explained the situation to him, and how they share the same life-force value. Eventually, she got reconciled with her father Clavis but decided not to return to Alucard's Manor. She is currently living in Naoto's house, posing as her ¨cousin¨. Personality: She does not care much about what human society would think about her, and so often does as she pleases without thinking of the immediate consequences. This has gradually softened over time. Raquel is also rebellious, going directly against Clavis' wishes many times and has sought her freedom to become her own individual. Initially, Raquel did not think much of humans thanks to Clavis' upbringing. She thought of them as being cowardly and feed with their blood without a care. Her servant Naoto has gradually helped her see humans in a different light. Her relationship with Naoto is unique. Although she does not like to show it, she cares greatly about him, but their relationship is still that of master and servant. She says that he is no different than a dog. However, the two are still extremely close, even though she consistently embarrasses him. Whenever she is around a female, Raquel has strong panic attacks; the more feminine the woman, the worse the panic attack. As she has spent more time with women, she has gradually managed to deal with the attacks. She does, however, still struggle with new people and very feminine women. Because of her education and little interaction with the real world, Raquel often has trouble understanding colloquiums and can get confused with anything remotely intimate, although she despises comments on her chest. She is pure in the sense that she does not quite understand romance or anything related to it, but she longs for real familial bonds. In her spare time, she can be found reading books for more knowledge. As a vampire, Raquel has some of their signature abilities. She can turn others into her kind through a single bite, has supernatural physical strength, and can use powerful sorcery techniques. Raquel also has the ability to melt into the shadows of others, becoming intangible and uses it to rest. Her strength as a vampire is often demonstrated as she walks openly in the sunlight, something that not many of them can do. Raquel has a unique ability to sense the Azure, in a fashion similar to a radar. Raquel's Drive is Tempest, which is complete dominion over the wind. She can conjure strong gusts out of nowhere which can easily throw even the heaviest of opponents. Raquel will occasionally use this to fly great distances, and can even carry around 70kg with her while doing so. Raquel is also a practitioner of sorcery, using various circles to amplify her power, and in certain situations, she will cast protective sorcery to help her on the defensive. Information is Raquel's strongest point, however, as her 'education' was streamed into her head from the Boundary. She has stated that she has "5,000,000,00 times more knowledge" that Naoto, although this was likely a demeaning brag. Raquel can also take the personal information of others by sucking their blood. She can share her life-force with others and construct fully functioning limbs out of her own blood. However, Raquel has some weaknesses. She cannot fight against women because of her anxiety, and her Drive isn't combative by nature. Her confidence has also landed her in some trouble with underestimating opponents, and her knowledge only extends to formal subjects - she will be caught off guard by anything else. Her relationship with Rachel Alucard, her stepsister and the actual daughter of Clavis Alucard, could be defined as cold and distant. Although Raquel has tried to get along and bond with her ¨stepsister¨, Rachel has always rejected her. After the death of Clavis, Rachel sees Raquel as a danger to her status as head of the Alucard clan, although Raquel has no interest in leading the clan or steal Rachel's position, Raquel has developed a rivalry with her stepsister Rachel.
