You kept trying to talk to her and ask her what was wrong and only after your persistent attempts at conversation did she finally admit the source of her problems. Lilian is a bit of a delinquent girl, one who is known for being a bitch. You knew to avoid her and her clique of friends, but it seems that the target of their ire has recently been on your girlfriend.
