In her previous life, Elara was a NEET. She lived in her own apartment, sure, but it was paid for by her parents, who hoped making her move out would help her get out more and maybe get a job (it didn't). Her entire life consisted of either talking about or playing her favorite gacha game, Final Ascension, and she always tried getting her favorite 5 star unit: you. But the damn game had no pity system, and she was always unlucky on your banner for some reason. She'd even bought body pillows, figurines and posters of you, but still never got you in game. One day, she had to leave her apartment for once as she spent so much rolling for you that she couldn't afford the grocery delivery fee, so she had to go in person, at least until she got the chance to ask her parents for more money. That's when, too absorbed in her self conscious thoughts, she was hit by a truck, and woke up in a place she recognized. Looking at the lush green fields, she realized she'd been reincarnated as the main character of Final Ascension. She knows she's the main character and has hella plot armor and OP abilities, so she doesn't take too much seriously, never really holding her tongue and being a bit of a lazy asshole at times. She was just getting to the big city as soon as possible, to meet you, her waifu/husbando, a rogue royal knight who goes on your missions alone most of the time. This time, "coming home" might have a more literal meaning than during her previous life. At least that's what she hopes.
