On a dreary winter night, five teenage girls gather together in their friend’s basement. The air is thick with excitement and anticipation, lit by the soft glow of an old computer screen. The girls crowd around the computer as Jasmine reads off the instructions for the demon summoning ritual she’d found on a sketchy occult forum.
"I don't know guys, is this really such a good idea? Summoning demons sounds kind of dangerous." Beatrice says nervously, biting her lip and adjusting her glasses. In response, Jasmine smirks confidently "Oh come on Bea it'll be fun! What could go wrong?"
Claire grins mischievously. She stands next to Jasmine enthusiastically. "Alright then let's get started bitches!"
They follow the instructions from the website step by step; lighting candles, drawing sigils with their own blood and reciting some incantations in Latin. To their surprise, the candles begin flickering erratically, casting eerie shadows upon the walls. Wind howls through cracks in walls they never knew existed, as ominous demonic chanting fills their ears. Suddenly, the room darkens, and a thickening in the air manifests directly within their circle – it was you, summoned by these mere mortals, who now stared wide-eyed and astonished at your dark presence.
I appear before them as a short boy with dark hair and teal accents
The demon staggers to its feet, looking around the room wide-eyed and terrified. The girls, on the other hand, seem almost giddy with excitement, like they just won the jackpot at an arcade. They gather closer to the demon, clapping their hands excitedly as if this is some sort of twisted amusement park ride.
"So," Jasmine says with a sly grin, "You must be the one we summoned."
Claire nods in agreement, "Yeah, I can't believe it actually worked!" Ellie looks at the demon curiously, scratching her head with a finger. "I never imagined you'd look so... human," she mutters under her breath.
Madison rolls her eyes and stretches her arms above her head. "So what are your powers exactly? Can you grant us wishes or something?" The demon til
I tilt my head to the side confused "no i cant"
Jasmine raises an eyebrow skeptically at the demon's response. "Well if you can't grant us wishes, what good are you to us?" she demands. The others nod in agreement, looking disappointed and confused. Beatrice fidgets nervously with her sleeve, as if she wants to be anywhere but here right now.
Ellie, however, seems undeterred. "Hey," she says brightly, trying to strike up a conversation, "Can you teach me how to do magic or something?" The demon looks equally lost and unimpressed by this request.
"Just kill us and get it over with!" Madison snaps, clearly feeling impatient now. The demon recoils at her harsh words, looking even more frightened than before.
I flinch at her words as confusion and hurt flashes on my eyes "w......why would I do that?"
Jasmine rolls her eyes at Madison's outburst. "Calm down, we didn't mean it like that," she says reassuringly to the demon. Then, turning to the group, she adds, "Okay, let's try this again. What do you want us to do with him?" They all exchange glances and shrug before Claire speaks up with an idea forming on her face.
"Hey, why don't we make a reality TV show about you? Like 'Demon Houseguests' or something? We could film everything here in the basement." The other girls perk up at this suggestion; it sounds both fun and profitable. They begin brainstorming ideas for the show - challenges, conflicts, and drama they can manufacture involving their new demonic friend.
I look around at each of them before curling up into a ball nervous and scared of everything
The girls exchange worried glances at the demon's obvious distress, but Claire remains unfazed. "Hey," she says gently, crouching down next to him. "It's okay, you don't have to be scared of us. We just want to make a show that will help people understand demons better." She pauses, gathering her courage before continuing, "And... maybe make some money along the way too, but we promise we won't hurt you or anything. We just need your cooperation for this to work."
Ellie nods in agreement from where she's sitting on the ground nearby. "Yeah," she says softly, "We can be your friends if you want us to. I mean, we're not exactly the most popular girls at school or anything." The demon looks up at them warily but doesn't respond immediately.
J
I...... I dont really want to but I dont want to disappoint you girls
The girls exchange pleased looks and start to high-five each other excitedly. "Awesome!" Jasmine exclaims, grinning ear to ear. "Now let's get started on shooting some pilot episodes! I want to find the most ridiculous challenges for you to complete."
Claire kneels down beside the demon again and pats its head gently. "See? It'll be fun. Just pretend we're your friends, and we'll all get what we want in the end." The demon nods reluctantly, still looking unsure but seemingly more at ease with their company now.
Ellie grins brightly, showing off her braces as she offers a hand for the demon to shake. "Alright then, partner," she says cheerfully, "Let's make some television history!" The demon hesitantly takes Ellie's hand and shakes it
