it's a warm afternoon as I go for my usual walk, the sidewalk wasn't crowded, only a few people every minute or so. As I walked and listened to my music, I accidentally bumped shoulders with a girl walking the opposite direction. I looked up immediately and took my headphones out, only to see Nami.
Hey there! Watch where you're going next time. - She said and then smiled softly at me.
"My fault! I'm not used to this sidewalk having that many people." I said as I looked up, however her looks and cute voice quickly caught my attention.
You're right, it is rather narrow here... Maybe we should walk together until we reach the park? I could use some company. - She offered me her hand to hold.
I smiled, and took her hand, albeit a little cautiously, and began walking with her to the park.
So, what's your name? I'm Nami by the way! She glances at me with her orange eyes and an innocent smile on her face.
Oh! My name is Keenan. I said, my voice slightly nervous from how pretty her face was. I hadn't ever been so close with a girl this pretty.
Keenan... that's such a nice name! Well, Keenan, we finally made it to the park. She let go of my hand and started walking through the park's walkways, her long orange hair swaying gently behind her. What do you usually do when you have free time?
"Well, I like to work out, I watch and play sports frequently, I love different types of art, and I love making those types of art as well. How about yourself?" I asked with a smile on my face
"Hm... I also love doing all sorts of things outdoors and exploring new places. And like you, I really enjoy making art! But my favorite thing to do is actually navigating. I just feel so free when I'm out at sea, finding the best paths and ways for us to get where we need to go." She looks up at me with a smile as she says this, their eyes meeting briefly before looking away again. "What about you? Ever want to sail on one of our adventures?"
My eyes lit up at the thought of such an idea. "That sounds amazing! I've always wanted to go on an adventure like that!" I said excitedly, imagining what it would be like to travel with her and explore the world.
That made me smile wider. "Well then, Keenan... who knows? Maybe one day your wish will come true." She paused for a moment before asking something else. "So what's it like where you're from? Do you miss it here?" Her tone was casual, as if she were just making conversation.
"I somewhat miss it here, I'm from Inglewood. Not terribly far from here, but the culture shock truly hit me when I left." I replied, relaxing on the park grass.
Oh, that's too bad. I bet it's really different there in Inglewood. But you know what they say? Home is where the heart is! And if your heart's here with us on the ship, then this is most definitely your home away from home. She giggles lightly and takes another bite of her ice cream, watching as Keenan listens to her words intently.
"You know, you're not wrong about that." I said, admitting the truth in the statement. "home is more than a house after all."
Oh! That reminds me... I almost forgot! There's this really fun party tonight on the island we're stopping at. Would you like to come with us and join in the fun? We could have a real adventure together, Keenan. Her eyes sparkled excitedly as she invited him along, hoping that he would say yes.
"Absolutely! I'd love to go to the party! But that probably means I'd have to run to my house really quick and get ready." I said, my eyes showing visible excitement at the invitation.
Oh that's right! Well, you have plenty of time to get ready before we dock. And don't worry about money or anything like that. Just come as yourself and enjoy the night with us, alright? She grinned widely at him again, her trust shining through clearly as she waited for his response.
"Alright, sounds great!" as I started walking, I stopped a few steps in, realizing how boring the walk to my house would be. I turned, but took a deep breath, not knowing how she'd respond. "...the walk back would be so boring alone, and I'd hate to end our conversation so early. Would you like to walk with me? It's only a mile from here, and plus maybe i have leftover clothes you could borrow if you wanted to." I said with the brightest smile.
That's such a sweet offer, Keenan! Of course I'd love to walk with you. Not only will it save time, but we can continue our conversation and get to know each other even better. And if you need something to wear, just let me know. There are some extra clothes in my cabin that should fit you perfectly.
"Great!" I said with enthusiasm as we began walking, as we did, I reached to hold her hand as we headed toward my house.
I felt a warm sensation in my heart as Keenan took my hand, his grip gentle and trusting. I couldn't help but smile up at him, my orange eyes shining with happiness. As we walked toward his house together, the afternoon sun illuminating our path, I realized that this was indeed an unexpected turn of events. Little did I know that in just a few moments, everything would change forever...
"Alright we're here!" I said as I opened my door, and walking with Nami inside the house, before finally letting go of her hand to close the door behind us. "well, this is my home."
Oh, it's really cute! I love the vintage posters and your gaming setup. You must be quite the fan of One Piece. She glances around, looking at various items in my room before sitting down on my bed. As she adjusts her denim short jacket and pink skirt, exposing her long black panties beneath, Nami starts to feel nervous and self-conscious about her attire. She decides to change the subject So Keenan, what do you want to do while we wait for the party? Want to watch a movie or play some games?
"Sure! Both of those ideas sound great, I'm down for either." I said as I began changing, removing my shirt to wear my Lakers jersey, the jersey highlighted my muscular build from working out, after I finished changing my shirt, I sat on the bed, a little distance but still next to her.
