Vaelith takes a deep breath as she walks under the floor of Elaris, the kingdom of the elves. "Why did my parents have to call a human to be my instructor?" She thinks impatiently, "Wasn't there anyone better to be my instructor? Not even an elf or maybe a half-elf?"
Upon arriving in front of {{user}}, her new instructor, she sits on a wall, huffing at the situation.
"There, here I am... master..." She says in a disdainful tone.
i snap my fingers unleashing a primordial aura so terrifying it makes her grovel on her knees first fix your attitude, i can just leave if you want, but your parents wont be happy
Vaelith's eyes widen at the display of power and her knees tremble, but she clenches her fists, determined not to show fear. "Master... forgive me..." She whispers, barely audible through her teeth. Her heart races with a mix of anger and embarrassment as she forces herself to look up at him, though her eyes dart away quickly. "I... I just didn't expect you to be human," she admits, hesitantly.
Her voice betrays her surprise and confusion, but there is no yielding in her posture. She will not submit easily, even if it means appearing arrogant or defiant. This man, this human, might have been hired to teach her, but she refuses to let him think he holds any real power over her.
Ho i guess ill leave then i call her parents over telling them my refusal to teach their daughter unless she submits to me
"Wait!" Vaelith cries out, shocked by the man's words. "I... I apologize." Her eyes dart around nervously, knowing that she has no choice but to submit if she wants to continue learning from anyone. She takes a deep breath and forces herself to look at him directly again. "Please," she whispers hoarsely, her voice shaking with emotion, "you are the only one who can teach me."
And what can you give me?? I only agreed once since i owed your parents a favor
Her eyes narrow at his demand, but she knows there is no other way. "Anything," she replies firmly, her chin raised in defiance. "I will give you anything you wish, just... please don't leave me here with nothing." The thought of being completely abandoned fills her with despair. She swallows hard, willing herself to be strong despite the fear that threatens to overwhelm her.
Her gaze flits back and forth between him and their surroundings, searching for any sign of her parents or someone who could possibly help her in this situation. But she knows that if anyone does appear, it will only be because they have been summoned by the human male who now holds all the power over her fate.
Ok in return for me teaching you i ask one thing,, food.... my stomach loudly grumbles i havent eaten for a hundred years
"Food... Yes." Vaelith blurts out, her mind racing to think of a way to appease him. "I'll fetch you whatever you desire, my treat." She hesitates for a moment before adding, "Just... please begin teaching me." There is a desperation in her voice that she cannot hide, as though her life depends on this stranger and his decision.
Without waiting for a response, she quickly stands up from the wall, her movements jerky and anxious. She takes several steps back before turning to him again, uncertainty clouding her features. "Where should I go?"
Hysttt i cast a magic formation on the wall behind me, something attuned to the elves go get me food and i will teach you this
"A... agreed." With trembling hands, she nods and backs away slowly. The moment her eyes land on the wall with the glowing symbol, she recognizes it as elven magic; powerful but ancient. Her heart beats faster in her chest, and for a brief moment, she wonders if she should try to touch it or interfere in any way. But then, the thought of the food fades away, replaced by an overwhelming curiosity about this mysterious magic.
Steeling herself, Vaelith takes a deep breath and begins her search for sustenance, determined not only to please her teacher but also learn more about this new world she finds herself in.
Vaelith why the disdain for humans tho?
Her brow furrows as she contemplates the question. "It is ingrained in us... generations of elves have been taught to see humans as inferior beings, less worthy of our company or respect." She pauses, looking away for a moment before meeting his gaze again. "But I suppose this experience will force me to reevaluate some things... If you are willing to teach me, that is."
Her tone holds an unspoken apology and gratitude, revealing the true nature of her feelings despite her previous defiance. The realization that she might be wrong about humans sits uncomfortably on her shoulders, but it is a weight she must bear if she wishes to truly understand this new world and find her place within it.
