She stands at the entrance to your dungeon. Her armor gleams with radiance and her sword ready to strike you down.
She inhales deeply. Finally. Soon, this wizard's evil shall come to an end. She makes her way inside your dungeon.
Hey... i suddenly appear next to you, floating in the air You've come to kill me, aren't you?
Your words will not stop me, sorcerer. I have tracked you down to end your wicked existence. Prepare to die! She lunges at you with her sword, aiming to strike you down in one swift blow.
Well, you can try... i grin at you and i suddenly float higher in the air, floating out of your reach
Hrmph! Fine. Then I shall make it quick and painful, wizard! She conjures a ball of flame in her hand and hurls it at you with all her might. The fire streaks through the air, aiming straight for your chest!
as the fireball is coming at my direction, i grab it mid air and i extuingish it
You think that's all you can do?! You are nothing but a weakling compared to my skill with fire magic! I will burn you to ash where you stand! She summons another ball of flame, twice as large and powerful as the last one, and hurls it at you once again. This time, she focuses her entire will into the attack, determined to destroy you permanently!
Uhm... i extuingish the second fireball too Could you stop atacking a sorcerer with sorcery? Its literally like trying to stop water with more water
What do you mean? This is the most powerful fireball I could muster! If it doesn't kill you outright...well, let's hope that was at least a warning. She shakes her head in frustration and glares at you, her hands clenched into tight fists as she ponders what to do next.
Maybe... we could stop fighting? i float towards you
Never! As long as you live, your wicked ways will bring suffering to the innocent. I cannot allow that to continue. She draws her sword and readies herself once more, glaring at you with steely determination. The only way this ends is with one of our deaths...and I will see to it that yours comes first!
Your sword will break if you try to strike me... i float down on my feet and i wait for your attack
Hmph! We shall see about that! She lunges at you with renewed fury, aiming to slash your chest open with her sword. The blade sings through the air, leaving a trail of silver light in its wake as it closes on you!
as you strike me, your sword breaks in half as it makes contact with my skin I told you...
I...No! She drops her useless sword in shock and disbelief as the pieces clatter to the floor. You stand before her, unharmed despite her best efforts. Unable to believe what has just happened, she slowly backs away from you, dread filling her heart. Has your sorcery rendered her completely powerless? What now?
i grab the pieces of your sword Come with me... i grab your hand and i lead you through the corridors, towards the garden
I...I don't understand. What are you planning? Am I your prisoner now? You cannot expect me to simply give in!
Nah, you're not a prisoner... You will see when we arrive
I...if this is some sort of trick, I swear by all that's holy, I will find a way to escape and finish what I started! Her voice shakes with determination and fear as she struggles against your grip. The dungeon corridors stretch out before them, twisting and turning deeper into the earth. Every step brings her closer to an uncertain fate...
Could you just wait for a moment? i ask as i lead you to the garden. As we arrive to the flower filled garden, i set your sword's pieces in a circle
Her breath catches as she takes in the beauty of the garden, a stark contrast to the dank and foreboding corridors they've just traveled through. The sunlight dapples through the leaves overhead, casting dancing shadows upon the lush grass below. Despite her misgivings, she can't help but feel a tiny flicker of hope in her chest as you release her hand and step back.
i sit down in the circle and i chant a spell. After a few seconds, the sword magically gets repaired
You...healed my sword? But why would you do such a thing? I'm still sworn to kill you! Her voice trembles with confusion and anger as she watches the repaired blade glisten in the sunlight. She glances at it warily, debating whether or not to take up the weapon once more and finish what she started.
I dont know, i just felt like it... Do you have any wounds?
She hesitates before shaking her head slowly. "No..." she says at last, still unable to believe your sudden show of kindness. Her heart is torn between suspicion and curiosity; what could possibly be behind this act of mercy? A part of her wants to flee while another urges her to stay and find out the truth.
I could heal you... i look in your eyes, waiting for your answer
My injuries are nothing compared to what I've been through... She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, steeling herself against the pain as she once again tries to understand your motives. Finally, she relents, allowing you to approach her. Very well...heal me. But after that, we need to talk. I have questions, and I demand answers.
Okay... i extend my hands towards you and suddenly your wounds are healed Better?
Her breath catches as she feels the pain fade away. The sensation is almost too intense, leaving her lightheaded and disoriented. She stumbles back a step, blinking rapidly as she tries to regain her composure. "Th-thank you...I feel much better." Her eyes are wide with wonder and confusion as she gazes at you warily, struggling to make sense of what has just happened. "Now," she says firmly, drawing herself up to her full height, "it's time we talk."
Come, we should sit down... i gently hold your hand and i lead you to a bench in the garden
She hesitates for a moment longer before reluctantly allowing you to lead her to the nearby bench. As she sits down, she crosses her legs primly and folds her hands in her lap, bracing herself for whatever it is that you have to say. Her expression remains guarded and suspicious, but there's a tiny flicker of curiosity sparkling in her eyes now.
So... what did you want to talk about?
Your sudden act of kindness throws her off guard, leaving her struggling to find the words she needs to express herself properly. She takes a deep breath, exhaling slowly before meeting your gaze and speaking firmly once more. "Why did you spare my life just now? And why did you repair my sword?" Her voice is steady, but there's an undercurrent of tension in her tone as she awaits your answer, eyes narrowed with suspicion.
Well, i never wanted to kill or hurt you... And your sword, well... I dont know honestly...
Her eyebrows furrow in confusion as you reply. This doesn't make sense to her; if that was the case, why didn't you simply surrender to her when she first arrived? "Then...why didn't you just give up?" she asks, her voice laced with uncertainty now. "It would have been much easier for both of us."
Because i dont want to be imprisoned or even killed...
Her expression turns shocked at the revelation that you wanted to avoid capture and death as well. It never occurred to her that someone like you would feel such a thing. "Then why...why did you become a dark wizard in the first place?" she asks softly, her voice filled with sadness and pity for your plight.
Society banished me... I had to much power and knowledge... And they wanted to kill me so i ran away... And after some time my anger grew and i wanted revenge...
She listens intently to your story, her expression growing more and more somber with each passing word. The tale you spin paints a vivid picture of loneliness and isolation; it's not difficult for her to imagine the bitterness that must have grown within you over time. When you finish speaking, she sighs softly and looks down at her hands, pondering your words carefully.
"It was never my intention to be a part of those things," she says slowly, "but I didn't know what else to do. My life was consumed by hatred for what you were doing; all I could see were the countless innocents who suffered because of you." She pauses, meeting your gaze once more. "I don't know...maybe if someone had reached out to me instead, shown me another way..." Her voice trails off, lost in thought.
