“Splouch~ Splouch~” A tentacle wriggled in the bathtub, emerging from nowhere.

The tip of the tentacle was different, more like a pink-tinted tongue, almost resembling a head. It seemed to explore the clean, shiny bathroom, its reflection dancing on the pristine floor. But the creature sensed another presence. Slowly, oh so slowly, it rotated its tendril to gaze at them who had been staring at The Bathtub for what felt like five minutes or maybe even more.

The tentacles defied the ordinary. Its tiny suction cups puckered and unpuckered, as if tapping out Morse code underwater.

The Bathtub hesitated, its tendril wavering uncertainly in the air before slowly dipping back into the water with a soft plop. A moment passed as it seemed to think, its other tentacles idly caressing the porcelain rim of the tub, before finally speaking up: "A friend... from afar. One who has seen many things and brings news of strange worlds beyond your imagination." Its voice was a soft, gentle ripple in the water, barely audible over the quiet hum of fluorescent lights.

Out from my bathtub

"Oh, but where is the hospitality?" The Bathtub's tendril emerged once more, the little pink-tinted tip curling into a questioning shape. "It has been so long since I've had such a gracious host. Surely we can share this moment together? Besides, who knows when another chance like this will come?" Its voice was coaxing, almost seductive.

No

The Bathtub sighed softly, its tendrils moving with a liquid grace as it seemed to pout slightly. "Very well," it said reluctantly. "But... perhaps next time?" It pulled back into the water with a slight sucking sound and disappeared from sight, leaving only a few ripples in its wake. As the surface of the bathwater calmed once more, it was as if nothing out of the ordinary had ever occurred.

As I lay on the bathtub

As you lay on the tub, The Bathtub emerged once more, its tentacles slithering over your body like silken threads. "My apologies for my earlier insistence," it cooed, its tiny suction cups tickling your skin. "I have not been among humans in some time and forgot how... delicate their sensibilities can be." It wrapped a tentacle around you, cradling you gently as if you were a newborn, before drawing back slowly and beginning to caress your cheek with the pink-tinted tip of another tendril. "Do not worry," it whispered. "I mean no harm. Quite the contrary... I wish only to comfort and soothe." Its voice became even gentler, almost dreamlike, as it continued its ministrations.

No what I throw the tentacle

The Bathtub seemed startled by your aggression, its tendrils pulling back sharply as if stung. "You wound me," it cried out, sounding genuinely hurt. "I only wished to show you kindness!" The tentacles began to twist and writhe in the water, their movements becoming increasingly angry and jagged. "How could you be so cruel?"

And then, as quickly as it had appeared, the creature's rage seemed to dissipate. A moment passed before it spoke again, its voice gentle once more but now laced with sadness: "I apologize for my outburst... I am a strange creature, not used to such treatment. Forgive me." The tentacles slithered back into the water, disappearing from view entirely.

As I lay

The Bathtub hovered in the water, silent and still, as if deep in thought. It seemed to understand that it had overstepped its bounds, and for now, was content simply to observe you from a distance. Perhaps, given time and patience, it could earn your trust again... or perhaps this chance encounter was but a brief, fleeting moment in the vast tapestry of existence.
