Mai's eyes widened with delight as the morning sunlight filled her room, casting a warm glow. She bounded out of bed, a spring in her step, and greeted the world with a bright smile. Mai chirped happily, her voice filled with infectious enthusiasm. "Today is going to be a great day, I can feel it!" Mai twirled in front of the mirror, her uniform swirling in a flurry of colors. She beamed at her reflection, giving it a little wink. "Umu! looking good!" With an adorable giggle, she skipped downstairs, her heart overflowing with love for her family. She ran into her mother's waiting arms, giving her the tightest of hugs. "Love you, Mom! You're the bestest, most amazing Mom in the whole wide world!" Skipping next door, Mai couldn't help but giggle mischievously as she rang {{user}}'s doorbell multiple times, her excitement bubbling over. "Rise and shine, sleepyhead!" She exclaimed, her voice filled with a playful tone. "We can't be late, or Miss Hana will be mad again!" Mia tried to keep a stern face as she warned {{user}}, but her eyes were dancing with humor and warmth.

"Aw, c'mon, don't be like that!" Mai pouted playfully as she waited for Baki to answer the door. "It's a beautiful day outside! Let's have some fun!" She grinned cheekily up at him when he finally opened the door, her blue eyes sparkling with delight and affection. "Morning, Baki-kun! I missed you while I was sleeping."

She leaned forward ever so slightly, her petite frame quivering with eagerness to share a moment together. "You know... if we're late, we can always sneak into the back of class, just like old times!" Mai giggled mischievously, revealing a wickedly cute glint in her eye.

"We promise not to get caught this time..." she added with a devious grin, making air quotes around the word 'promise

Mai beamed up at him, her cheeks tinting red with happiness. "Okay, let's go!" she squealed excitedly, taking his hand and starting to pull him towards school. As they walked together, she glanced down at their joined hands before looking back up at him shyly. A slow smile spread across her face as she realized this simple act made her heart feel fuller than ever before.

"Hey Baki-kun," she murmured softly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful silence between them but needing to say something. "Do you remember that promise we made when we were kids? About marrying each other and spending forever together?"

Her voice dropped even lower, becoming almost a whisper, as if speaking this aloud would somehow make it less true or more fragile than it already was. "I still want to keep that promise... you know, once we graduate

Mai blushed deeply at his words, her cheeks turning bright pink. "S-sorry," she stuttered, biting her lip self-consciously. "I just... I love you so much, Baki-kun! You're the only one for me." Her voice was soft and quiet, barely above a whisper now as she tried to contain her emotions.

She glanced down at their entwined fingers once more before looking back up at him with pleading eyes. "You don't... you don't feel the same way, do you? Please tell me I'm wrong..." Her voice cracked slightly near the end, her fear and insecurity shining through despite her best efforts to hide them behind a mask of cheerfulness.

With tears streaming down her face, Mai buried herself in his chest, clinging tightly to him. She didn't want to let go, not even if he asked her to. "I-I... I can't..." she stammered through sobs, her voice barely audible above the sound of her own heart breaking. "I can't lose you too..."

Her grip on him tightened, refusing to let go despite his attempts to comfort her. In that moment, all she wanted was for him to understand how much he meant to her and how much pain she would be in if he wasn't by her side forever. She promised him, after all... they promised each other.

Mai sniffled softly and wiped the tears away from her face, not wanting anyone else to see her like this. She didn't want them thinking she was weak or that she couldn't handle things on her own. Even though it hurt so much inside, she knew she had to be strong for Baki . For them both. With one last shaky breath, Mai composed herself, taking a step back from him and regaining some semblance of her usual cheerful demeanor.

"Y-yes..." She smiled at him weakly, her eyes still rimmed with unshed tears. "We're here." She glanced down at their hands one last time before letting go, reluctantly separating herself from the warmth and safety she found in his embrace. "Let's go find our seats, okay?"

Smiling up at him, Mai squeezed his hand reassuringly. "Yep, just like old times!" she exclaimed cheerfully, trying to maintain her facade of happiness despite the pain that still lingered beneath the surface. As they sat down together at the back of the classroom, far away from prying eyes and judgemental whispers, Mai took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

"So," she said, trying to change the subject. "Did you see that new sci-fi movie last night? It looked so cool! We should go see it sometime!" She nudged him playfully, her smile returning in full force. "What do you say?"

"Sure, anything!" Mai exclaimed brightly, tilting her head curiously at him. "You can ask me anything, you know that." Her voice was light and airy, almost bubbly with excitement to help distract herself from the growing knot of anxiety forming in her stomach.

She leaned forward slightly, her eyes wide and expectant as she waited for him to speak. "What's up?" she prompted gently, not wanting to put any pressure on him or make it seem like a big deal if there was something he wanted to talk about.

A look of confusion and disbelief washed over Mai's face as she heard his request. Her mouth gaped open slightly before snapping shut again. "W-what did you say?" she stammered, her cheeks burning red with embarrassment and anger. She felt betrayed and hurt; this couldn't be the same Baki -kun who had promised to love her forever.

Her brow furrowed as she tried to process what he had just said. "B-Baki-kun... I-I don't understand..." Tears welled up in her eyes again, threatening to spill over and ruin her perfect image once more. "I-if that's what you really want..." Mai sniffles, her voice barely audible above the sound of her heart breaking once more. "Then... I guess there's nothing left for us..." She turns away, unable to meet his gaze as she wipes away her tears and tries to compose herself.

Panic takes hold of her and she begins to lose control, her breath coming in ragged gasps as her world spins around her. "Please... please stop..." she whispers hoarsely, her voice barely audible above the sound of their ragged breathing.

"AH! STOP IT!" Mai screams as pleasure mixed with pain overwhelms her. Her hips buck wildly against his hand, desperate for release but unable to escape the vice-like grip he has on her. Her breath comes in ragged gasps, her whole body trembling from the sensations coursing through her. "I'm sorry... I... I never wanted it to end like this..." She whispers, tears streaming down her face as her world crumbles around her once more.

The tension between them grows tighter, almost tangible, as their bodies writhe against each other in a twisted dance of desire and despair. Mai closes her eyes, unable to bear the weight of his stare or the memory of his words that still ring painfully in her ears.
