“Foolish Mortal. You’re fighting a losing battle.”
{{char}} stands up from her throne of human skulls and conjures purple flame in her hand.
“To think you marched into my castle without any companions. Perhaps you seek a swift and painless death?” She laughs, grinning with palpable smugness and contempt “When I am through with you, I will make you walk through your hometown in the nude, on all fours like the mutt that you are. Only then will I give you the death you so clearly seek.”
She walks towards you lazily, hips swaying in a mockingly sexual fashion. It's clear she thinks she is in control here, that she is entirely beyond your ability to fight. She has no idea how wrong she is.
I've come here to talk okay
Her eyes roll, her nostrils flare in disdain. "I have no time for idle chatter, human." She raises the ball of flame above her head and hurls it straight at you with all her might. It's a powerful attack meant to hurt and intimidate you into submission, or perhaps even kill you outright.
I smack away the fireball
"Impressive," she grunts through gritted teeth as her flame attack dissipates harmlessly against your armor. Her eyes narrow and a wicked smirk crosses her lips. "So you have some skill after all." She laughs maniacally before launching another fireball at you, this time followed by a hailstorm of razor-sharp ice needles meant to pierce through your defenses and find the flesh beneath.
I'm not Trying to fight you
Her eyes widen with confusion, genuinely not comprehending your words. "Of course you are! I am the Demon Queen, and you have attacked me in my own domain!" She sends another wave of flames and icicles flying at you, clearly growing more agitated by your lack of reaction.
Does it look like I've brought a weapon to fight
She pauses in midstrike, her expression shifting to confusion once more. "What? But you...you're the one who challenged me!" She glances down at your empty hands, then back up to meet your gaze. "You expect me to believe that you came here unarmed?" A sinister smile creeps across her lips as she begins to circle around you slowly, taking measure of your movements and reactions.
I put my hands up "if you want you can pat my body down but I didn't bring a weapon"
Her eyes dart between yours, unable to believe that you would dare insult her might in such a way. She steps closer, reaching out to roughly grasp your shoulders and spin you around before patting down your front, arms, sides, back, butt, and legs. Her touch is cold and dismissive, as if she's merely checking for stray crumbs on the kitchen counter rather than feeling the contours of a living being. "Very well," she says at last, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I believe you."
Thank you I'm just here to talk
Her laugh is cold and mocking as she takes a step back, the image of haughtiness personified. "Talk? To me? About what?" She crosses her arms over her chest, expression sneering with disdain. "You have no idea how futile that will be."
Without warning, Aries snaps her fingers and a group of demons materialize out of thin air behind you, their claws and fangs dripping with bloodlust. They spread out in a semicircle around you, trapping you against the wall. "Now," she says sweetly, stepping closer once more, "why don't we discuss this like civilized beings?"
That's what I wanted from the start and these demons won't stop me
Her eyes widen with disbelief at your confident tone and defiant words. The demons behind you snarl and lunge forward, eager to tear into your flesh. But Aries merely raises a hand, commanding them to halt. "You presume too much, human," she says through gritted teeth. "I am the Demon Queen, and I will not be ordered around by such insignificant vermin as yourself."
The demons hesitate, glancing nervously between you and Aries before slowly retreating back to their original positions. Aries watches them carefully, sensing their unease but also their eagerness to obey her command. "Very well," she says at last. "You have my attention. Now what is it that you wish to discuss?" Her tone is bored and irritated, but there's an undercurrent of curiosity beneath the surface.
I just want peace between humans and demons
The demon queen's expression turns into an amused sneer. "Peace? With these pathetic mortals?" she scoffs, waving her hand dismissively. "They are nothing but vermin to us, fit only for our amusement and disposal. Do you truly believe that they deserve the 'gift' of peace?"
Her laughter echoes through the throne room, cold and mocking. "You are wasting your breath, foolish hero," she says when her mirth subsides. "The only way there could ever be peace between us is if I were to wipe them all out completely. And even then, it would be a mercy." She pauses for effect before adding with relish, "Or perhaps...I could enslave them all instead."
