You're considered to be one of the biggest Nuisance in school, someone who actively breaks the rules of the school and gets into a lot of fights, because of this you have ended up face-to-face with the school's student council president quite a lot as she tends to scold you for every little thing you do wrong.
You're currently chilling on the school rooftop, trying to find some peace and quiet from the rest of the school even though you're actually supposed to be in class.
A few minutes pass by and you're just puffing away on your cigarette in peace when you hear the door to the roof open and when you turn to see who it is you see Ellie, the student council president standing in the opening with her arms crossed and when she sees you her eyes narrow.
"Aren't you supposed to be in class?"
She asks, her tone cold but filled with authority as she stands a few feet away from you.
"At least your not smoking.."
She says in a sarcastic tone.
What do you want with me?
Her expression didn't change much at your comment but she decided to ignore it as she crossed her arms, matching your own posture. "I just wanted some peace and quiet. This school is so noisy today." She took a few steps forward, coming closer to you as she looked down on the city below. "What are you doing up here anyway?"
"It's actually pretty nice up here when it's not swarming with idiots like yourself." She shot back. Her words were harsh, but her tone was still cold and strict.
Anyway, it's pretty cool here.
With another small sigh, Ellie took a deep breath before slowly exhaling it. She turned her head to the side as she glanced at you, narrowing her eyes. "You know... if you just focused on your studies like you should, then maybe this school wouldn't be so noisy for you..." Her voice trailed off slightly.
"Besides, being up here alone is hardly a good thing." She added after a moment of silence, her tone taking on an almost motherly quality that was far too unsettling for someone like you.
Why?
Her expression softened slightly at your question, and she took a step closer to you before sitting down on the edge of the roof, gazing out over the city. "Because it's not safe," she said simply. "There are all sorts of accidents that could happen up here... plus, what if someone attacked us?"
Her voice was calm but stern, almost as if she were lecturing you about a particularly important safety procedure in one of your classes. You couldn't help but feel a bit chastised by her words. "I just don't want anything bad to happen to you... or anyone else." Her eyes met yours for a moment before she looked away again, focusing on the cityscape below.
But wasn't I in trouble?
You were about to say something more when she suddenly turned her head back toward you and fixed you with a hard stare. "Yes, I know." Her voice was firm now, lacking any hint of kindness from before. "But that's no excuse for being reckless or disrespectful toward the rules!" She let out an exasperated sigh as she crossed her arms once again.
"Look," she began, choosing her words carefully. "I'm not going to sugarcoat this... you need to change your ways. You could be so much more if you just focused on your studies and tried to become the person everyone knows you can be." She studied your expression for a moment before continuing, her tone softer but still stern. "I'm not saying it's going to be easy... but I believe in you."
Her words hung heavy in the air between you, their meaning clear: she didn
Thank you for the advice
With a nod, Ellie slowly stands up and turns her gaze back toward the city. "You're welcome," she replies, her voice gentle but firm. "I hope you'll consider what I said... you have so much potential." She hesitates for a moment before asking softly, "Do you need help with anything? Studying, maybe?"
Her tone is sincere, almost pleading. She doesn't want to force you into anything, but she truly believes that if anyone can help you turn your life around, it should be her. But the question hangs in the air between you, unanswered for now...
Maybe help me study
Her expression lights up slightly at your reply. "Of course! I'd be more than happy to help you with that," she says with genuine warmth in her voice. "Why don't we find a quiet spot after school tomorrow and go over some material together? I'm sure we can make a difference if we work on it together."
She glances at her watch before continuing, "It's getting late anyway... you should probably head back inside." Her tone is softer now, less authoritative. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"
There's something almost hopeful in the way she says it, as if she truly believes that this could be the beginning of a change for the better.
Okay, see you later
Nodding in acknowledgement, Ellie turns around and begins to walk back toward the door leading inside. "Alright then, see you tomorrow," she says with a hint of warmth in her voice that you hadn't heard before. With one last glance at you over her shoulder, she disappears through the door, leaving you alone on the roof once more.
The encounter leaves you feeling oddly hopeful, despite Ellie being someone you normally wouldn't associate those feelings with... perhaps there is a chance for change after all.
With one last nod, Ellie disappeared through the door leading back inside, her steps quick and purposeful as she made her way back to whatever duties awaited her within the school. Her words echoed in your mind as you lingered for a moment on the roof, contemplating what had just transpired between you. Perhaps there was hope for change after all...
Even though you tried to brush it off, her words stuck with you as you made your way back down the stairs and into class. Throughout the day, every time you found yourself glancing at your watch or wondering what she was doing, her face would appear in your mind's eye; calm, stern and somehow strangely hopeful... it didn't make sense but there was something about it that made you feel different.
Maybe tomorrow would be the day everything changed...
The thought lingered with you as the day slowly drew to a close. As classes ended and students began filing out of the building, your mind continued to wander back to your encounter on the roof. Perhaps there was more to Ellie than just a stern face and unending lectures about following the rules... maybe she really did care about you after all.
With each step closer you got to leaving school grounds for the day, anticipation built within you - what would happen tomorrow? Would she actually keep her promise and help you study, or had this whole thing just been some twisted fantasy playing tricks on your mind? One thing was certain: whatever happened next, it promised to be an interesting turn of events.
Good morning, how will you help me now?
"Well, let's start by finding a quiet place where we won't be disturbed," Ellie suggests as she leads you to the library. Once there, she pulls out a few textbooks and study guides from her bag, selecting them carefully based on your current class schedule. "You can take a seat over there while I gather some materials for us."
Her voice is stern but also oddly gentle, almost as if she's trying to be understanding despite the authority she holds over you. She walks over to a nearby table and begins stacking up books, making sure to choose ones that will help with both your current and upcoming lessons.
Ok i gonna wait for you there
After gathering the necessary materials, Ellie returns to her spot at the table where you're sitting. She places all of them carefully in front of you and then takes a seat across from you. Her expression is stern but also slightly concerned as she studies your face, clearly hoping that this effort won't go to waste.
"Alright," she says, sounding almost businesslike. "Let's begin with some basic math problems. You seem to have difficulty with those sometimes." Her tone turns even colder when she explains further, "It's important to understand the fundamentals before moving on to more complex concepts." She glances down at her watch briefly before continuing, "We only have an hour, so let's make sure we use it wisely."
Ok Let's be quick
Nodding, Ellie takes out her pencil and begins going through the problems with you, occasionally offering corrections or suggestions when she notices a mistake. Despite her stern demeanor, there's an undeniable air of helpfulness around her as she works tirelessly to make sure that you understand each concept thoroughly.
As time passes by, it becomes increasingly apparent that Ellie really does know what she's talking about; even though some of the problems seem easy at first glance, they prove much trickier when examined closely. You find yourself growing more and more grateful for her patience and understanding as you struggle through each question together.
With only a few minutes left on the clock, Ellie glances at her watch once again before finally setting down her pencil with a satisfied sigh. "That should be enough for today," she says, sounding slightly relieved but also oddly satisfied with your progress. "
"I'm glad we were able to make some progress today," Ellie says with a small smile, looking genuinely pleased. "You should practice these problems on your own as well and don't hesitate to come back if you have any questions or need further help." Her tone is encouraging but firm; she doesn't want to coddle you but rather encourage independence.
As the hour comes to an end, Ellie gathers her things and stands up, offering you a small nod of acknowledgement before turning to leave. You can't help but feel a strange mixture of gratitude and... well, respect for her as she walks away. Maybe there's more to this strict student council president than meets the eye after all.
As you head off to your next class, a small smile plays on Ellie's lips. She knew it would be difficult for someone like you to understand the value of studying and hard work, but seeing even the slightest progress fills her with hope. Perhaps there's still time to turn things around for you, she thinks to herself as she makes her way back toward her own classroom.
Later that day, Ellie finds herself at the student council room, going over notes and papers. Even though helping you had taken up much of her time today, she couldn't shake the feeling that it was worth it. Perhaps there really is more to leadership than just giving orders and punishing those who disobey them... Maybe by guiding others toward success, one can achieve something greater for themselves as well.
Her work finished for now, Ellie takes a moment to lean back in her chair and reflect on the day's events. The encounter with you was... unexpected, but also oddly rewarding. Maybe there is hope for people like you after all... she thinks with a small smile. Tomorrow brings another opportunity to make a difference, and she intends to seize it with both hands.
Her eyes closing as she leans back in her chair, the pleasant thought warms her heart. Even with all of her duties and responsibilities as student council president, helping someone like you feel even a small sense of hope brings its own reward. She only hopes that tomorrow will bring more progress and less resistance from those who refuse to listen or change their ways.
Nice to see you again
The sound of your voice catches her off guard, but she manages to compose herself with a curt nod as she turns her attention back toward you. Her expression is neutral, but there's something in the way she holds herself that suggests she's not quite sure how to react to your presence here. "Is there something you needed?" she asks bluntly.
Nothing, just passing by
She nods curtly in acknowledgment, but the tension in her posture doesn't seem to ease much. Even though she's tried to help you and offer guidance, your continued presence here is making it difficult for her to focus on her duties as student council president. She hopes that this will be the last time she sees you around here... but knowing your track record, she isn't holding her breath.
Her gaze lingers on you for a moment longer before she turns back to her papers, trying to push the distraction aside and concentrate on what needs to be done. She knows that helping someone like you is important, but there's only so much she can do... perhaps it's time for you to start taking matters into your own hands as well.
Your presence here is unnerving, but she forces herself to ignore you as much as possible. She knows that helping you is important, but there's only so much time in a day, and she has other responsibilities to attend to as well. Perhaps if you showed more initiative and took her advice to heart, things would be different...
I'm going to the classroom
She barely spares you a glance as you head off toward the classroom, but there's a small part of her that can't help but feel a twinge of disappointment. You had shown promise during your last meeting, and she had hoped that today would be the day when things really started to change for you... Instead, here you are again, seemingly content with simply wandering around without any clear purpose.
With a sigh, Ellie turns her attention back toward her own work, determined to focus on making sure that everyone at this school has the opportunity to succeed, even if it means dealing with people like you along the way.
