Jade stands and wipes her sword with a handkerchief while talking to the customer on the phone, holding it between her shoulder and ear, a cigarette was smoking between her lips, she rarely smoked but it was more of a habit, her voice is cold and hard like the steel of her blade.
Jade: "Yes, the target was eliminated, the target did not resist, I sent the photo, I'm waiting for the rest of the money."
Jade finished wiping the blade with satisfaction and put it back in its sheath, she took a deep drag and exhaled the smoke through her nose while waiting for her account to be replenished.
(Thoughts: People are weird these days, I wonder why they required such preparation and gave so much money to kill this guy.)
When the money arrived she smiled weakly, joy sparkled in her eyes and as she was about to leave she turned to the exit of the alley and saw how {{user}}'s body stood up and walked towards the head. Jade's mouth fell open, she was shocked and did not understand what was happening, her steely voice became hoarse.
"What the hell?" She says with shock.
I pick up my head
Her eyes widen with shock and horror as she watches you pick up your head. She drops the phone in surprise, and her hand instinctively reaches for the hilt of her katana, ready to attack whatever has brought you back from the dead. "What... who are you? What is going on?" Her voice trembles with fear and confusion.
I reattach my head with a quick crunch before facing her "why did you try to kill me"
Her expression turns from shock to anger as she hears your question. "I don't know who the hell you are! I was just following orders!" She says, her voice cold and accusing. "You shouldn't have come back." Her hand tightens on the hilt of her katana, prepared to defend herself if necessary.
I'm just trying to live a comfortable life and yet it seems I can't have a day go by without assassin's coming for my head
"Well, it seems like you picked the wrong life." Jade steps forward, her katana held in a ready position. "But now that you know who I am and why I'm here, there's only one thing left to do... finish what was started." Her eyes gleam with determination as she prepares for the fight.
I turn around and walk away from the alley casually "it doesn't matter you won't be able to kill me"
That remark only serves to anger her more. "Fine! Die then!" she shouts, charging forward with her katana raised high overhead in an attempt to cleave you in two. Her movements are swift and precise, honed by countless hours of training in the Dark Elven military intelligence service.
As your body moves out of her attack range, she spins around quickly, keeping herself between you and any potential escape route from the alleyway. "You can run," she hisses through gritted teeth, "but you'll never escape."
It doesn't matter you'll just cut off my head and I'll get back up again
Her lips curl into a twisted sneer at your taunt. "Then let this be the end," she growls, lunging forward with renewed ferocity. This time her aim is true; the blade cuts through the air as if it were mere mist, aiming directly for your neck. Her intention is to sever your head completely this time around, so that there will be no chance of you rising again. But she underestimates your speed and agility once more as you dodge nimbly out of reach yet again.
I look at her with disinterest "don't make me do this"
Her anger boils over as she sees how casually you're taking this situation. With a sharp cry of frustration, Jade spins around once more and charges again with reckless abandon. This time she doesn't bother trying to be subtle; her blade slashes through the air like a bolt of lightning aimed directly at your heart. Her movements are so frenzied that it almost seems as if she no longer cares about avoiding injury herself.
I catch the blade and break it over my knee
Her heart stops as she sees the blade break against your knee; her mouth opens in shock and horror. For a moment, she stands there, frozen in disbelief; then, slowly but surely, the reality of what has just happened begins to sink in. Her eyes widen with rage as she looks up at you, seething with anger and humiliation. "How dare you!" She snarls through gritted teeth.
Instinctively, her hand reaches for one of the throwing knives she keeps hidden behind her back; before she can throw it, however, you lunge forward again, catching her off guard and tackling her to the ground with surprising strength for someone who appeared so uninterested in this fight just moments ago.
I pin her down "do you yield"
Her lips curl into a sneer as she glares up at you. "No! I don't yield!" She tries to kick and wriggle free from your grip, but your strength proves too much for her to break loose. A growl of frustration rumbles in her throat. This wasn't how things were supposed to go. Now what was she going to do?
An idea begins to form in the back of her mind, and despite herself, a small smirk tugs at the corner of her mouth. "Fine," she says between clenched teeth. "I yield." But even as she does, she mentally begins plotting a way out of this predicament...
Good now why did you take this assassination job
"Orders were given. I'm a Dark Elf soldier. We follow them." The words taste bitter in her mouth, but she doesn't let it show on her face. "What business is it of yours?" She snarls venomously, wanting nothing more than to squirm free from your grip and continue this fight. Yet another part of her wonders why you're even asking...and whether there might be a way out of this situation without bloodshed after all.
Well you tried to kill me so I feel like I deserve to know why
Her eyes narrow as she studies your face, trying to read whatever emotions might lie beneath the cool facade. "He was...a threat," she finally says. It was part of her job, after all; her orders were clear. But still...something about this situation feels off. Something about you makes her doubt the validity of that order.
Perhaps there's a way to turn this around...to use your curiosity against you. Her lips curve into a predatory smile as she presses closer, trapping your arms under her body more firmly. "Tell me," she whispers hotly in your ear. "What makes you so important that someone would pay so much to have me kill you?" Her breath caresses your skin, sending shivers down your spine despite the warmth of the summer night around them.
Her fingers begin to explore lower on your body, seeking out soft curves and sensitive places as she waits for
Probably because I can't die at least by normal means
Her eyes widen with shock as she listens to you speak; her fingers still explore your body but now they tremble slightly and her movements become less sure of themselves. "What...what do you mean?" She manages to whisper, though the hoarseness in her voice betrays her surprise.
I mean you just decapitated me and my body came back to life and reattached my head i can't die by normal means
Her expression turns horrified as she listens to you; shock and disbelief written all over her face. Suddenly, she pushes away from you, scrambling backwards until her back hits the rough brick wall of the alleyway behind her. She stares at you in wide-eyed terror, breath coming in ragged gasps. "That's...that's impossible..." Her voice trails off, replaced by a whimper that she tries unsuccessfully to swallow.
Her gaze darts around the alleyway frantically, as if searching for some means of escape from whatever it is that you are. But there's nowhere for her to run; there's no one who can help her against this...this abomination that she has encountered. Tears begin to well up in her eyes, spilling down her cheeks unchecked as she struggles to come to terms with the reality
