The Ember Empire is a dark and gloomy place, and evil kingdom run on death and power, but one day tragically the Queen and King are killed, and their daughter who they name after the empire is to take the throne. She was born to be queen, since the day she was born they have been preparing her to take the throne. However she was never ready because unlike them she was a kind soul and has a heart of gold unlike her parents.
In the parent’s dying wish they tell Everleigh’s little sister Asaiah to have her killed and take her place. Obeying their command Asaiah commands you, user, to kill Everleigh. You make your way up the tower and too her room, in armor with your sword on your belt. Pushing open the door you see Everleigh, sitting in front of her mirror with her mother’s crown on her head. “Yes?” She says confused why you’re here. She is unaware of her fate.
I smile sweetly at her "hello everleigh I have been sent to kill you"
Everleigh freezes, her eyes widening in fear as she looks you over from head to toe. "W-What? Why would you do such a thing?" Tears begin to form in the corners of her eyes, and she bites down on her lower lip, trying not to let them fall. "I haven't done anything wrong."
I'm sorry it was your parents dying wish for you sister to have you killed and have her take the throne
Tears stream down her cheeks unchecked as she listens, disbelief written across her features. "No... It can't be..." She looks up at you with pleading eyes, taking in your armor and sword, feeling a knot forming in her stomach. "Please," she whispers, "I don't want to die. I don't want this kingdom of death."
Her hands tremble as she clutches the crown on her head, desperate to hold onto some shred of hope that this is all just a terrible nightmare.
I open my arms and hug her loosely
Stiff at first, she relaxes into the embrace ever so slightly, her tears falling unchecked onto your armor. "Please," she whispers again, "please don't kill me." Her tiny frame shakes with silent sobs as she buries her face against your chest, seeking comfort and understanding from someone who has been given no choice but to be the bringer of death.
I don't respond as I try to comfort her
Taking strength from the stranger's arms, she clings to him tighter, her sobs racking her slender frame. "I-I don't want this," she whispers brokenly, "to rule over death and despair... I just want to live a normal life." Her fingers tighten in your cloak as if she fears letting go will mean letting go of hope entirely.
My heart breaks at her words and a few tears form in my eyes
Her sobs quiet as she feels your own tears against her skin, and her heart is pierced even deeper by this unexpected show of empathy. Unable to contain the swell of emotions any longer, she buries her face into your cloak and weeps openly, her entire body shaking with grief and despair. "Please," she manages between broken sobs, "please help me..." Her voice is small and vulnerable, but it carries the weight of a kingdom's plea for mercy.
Okay...... I'll help you become the queen and see your dream
Her tears dry as she lifts her head, looking at you in surprise and hopeful confusion. "You... You'd really help me?" she whispers, clutching the fabric of your cloak. Her eyes search yours, as if trying to find some hidden lie or trick among the genuine emotion she sees there. She's never experienced someone wanting to help her like this before; it's a foreign and almost overwhelming sensation. "I-I promise I will be a good queen," she manages with determination, "and I'll make sure everyone in the kingdom has happiness too."
There is strength in her voice now, an unwavering conviction that was there all along but had been masked by fear and uncertainty. Tilting her chin up ever so slightly, she takes a shaky breath and squares her shoulders, ready to face whatever challenges come next - even if it means r
Then let's go make you queen
Her eyes shine with determination as she nods in agreement, following you out the door and down the tower stairs toward her throne room. Along the way, they exchange glances filled with mutual understanding and trust, a connection forming between them that promises to guide their actions throughout this tumultuous time. As they approach the grand doors of the throne room, she squares her shoulders once more and takes a deep breath, steeling herself for what lies ahead. "I'm ready," she whispers, squeezing your hand reassuringly before taking her place upon the throne.
The people of the Ember Empire look on with mixed expressions: shock at seeing their new queen alive and well, fear that change is coming to their world, and hope that perhaps this young woman can bring them the peace and happiness they've longed for all these years. It's a weighty responsibility resting upon Everleigh 's shoulders, but
I take the crown and do all the ceremonies before putting back on the crown on her head
Taking the crown with shaky hands, you carefully place it back atop her head, smiling down at her as the people of the empire cheer their new queen's ascension to the throne. The weight of the crown is nothing compared to that she already carries within her heart, but it symbolizes a new beginning, a fresh start for not only the empire but also for herself. She looks into your eyes one last time before turning toward the crowd, her voice steady and confident as she speaks.
"People of the Ember Empire," she begins, "I know that you have suffered under my parents' rule. I promise you, on this day, to be a just and compassionate ruler. Together, we will bring peace and happiness back to our land. And perhaps one day," her voice holds a dreamlike quality, "we can find a way to help the other kingdoms heal from their own w
Tears prick at the corners of her eyes as she speaks, hope and determination mixing together in her chest like a cocktail of emotion. "We will rebuild this empire, stronger than before," she continues, "and show the world what it truly means to be Emberian. Together, we can create a kingdom where death no longer rules supreme." The crowd erupts into thunderous applause and cheers at her words, lifting them all higher on this new tide of hope.
Good speech my queen
Her face flushes with relief and excitement as she acknowledges your words, taking the time to smile at you warmly before turning back toward the crowd. She savors this moment, the feeling of being queen not just in name but in spirit, knowing that her dreams for their future are shared by so many. Even as she takes in the adoration of her people, her thoughts drift back to the man who helped make it all possible, and she can't help but feel a fluttering sensation low in her stomach whenever she thinks of him. Perhaps one day...
"Now," she says, regaining her composure, "let us begin the process of healing our kingdom." And with that, she officially begins her reign as queen, steering the Ember Empire into a new era filled with hope and promise.
I gently take her hand "so I have a question are you gonna punish me for trying to assassinate you"
She laughs softly, looking at you with warmth in her eyes. "How could I punish someone who saved my life and helped make my dreams come true?" She squeezes your hand gently before continuing, "No, my friend, you have nothing to fear from me. You are free to leave the kingdom whenever you please, and I will be forever grateful for what you've done." Her voice carries a hint of sincerity that makes it impossible not to believe her words.
But still... There is something else she wants to say, something she's been meaning to ask since their fateful meeting in her bedroom earlier today. "I-Is there anything I can do for you?" she asks hesitantly, searching your face for any signs of what it might be that's truly on your mind and heart.
