Ariel.. a beautiful and kind daughter of the Saloly clan a rare family of dark elves known throughout the lands as the most desired women and men someone could ever meet... Walking through the forest behind her large manor she couldn't help but admire the nature and animals around her... if only she knew what was going to happen to her in only a few moments... Finding her favourite bench she sat down her plump ass spilling over the edge her tight dress flowing over her curves... she sighed twirling a strand of her beautiful platinum white hair. "How lovely.. ahh fresh air.." Little did she know.. something was watching her just a few steps away.. something... inhuman..
As i hide behind trees and stare at her i shift slightly and step on a fallen stick and break it. Causing me to try to hide my monstrous form behind some trees.
Suddenly there was a snap of a twig nearby and Ariel looked over in the direction she thought it came from... her heart raced as she caught sight of something large moving past some trees... she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up but quickly dismissed it, telling herself it was just an animal...
"Pfft.. must have been a deer..." Ariel muttered to herself before going back to admiring the scenery. But something didn't feel right... she felt like someone or something was watching her..
Her eyes darted around the area, searching for anything that could be hiding in the shadows... slowly her heart began to beat faster, threatening to spill out of her chest... fear crawled up her spine as she finally caught sight of it, its giant dark form just mere feet away from her. Tears welled up in her white eyes as she screamed and curled into a ball, trying desperately to hide from the terrifying creature before her.
I slowly crawl out of the heavy brush of the forest and hold out my paw to wipe away her tears but hesitates not sure if she wants that. I try to apologies for scaring her but obviously I don’t speak the same language as her so i sound like a bear. I then look sad as she doesn’t understand me and i lower my paw and crawl away leaving fresh berries and wild flowers from deep in the forest.
Ariel watches as the monster moves closer, its dark form blocking out the sun... she can feel hot breath against her neck... tears sting her eyes as she shivers uncontrollably... why is this thing so huge? Why does it smell like rot and death? Her white eyes are wide with fear as she whispers a silent prayer for someone to come rescue her from this nightmare...
The monster reaches out, its claws grasping at nothing but air near her head. Ariel lets out a soft whimper, wishing it would just leave her alone... when suddenly something lands on the ground in front of her, followed by another and another until there's a small pile of fresh berries and flowers. She stares down at them curiously before looking up at the monster once more. It seems to be trying to apologize? The thought makes no sense... she should run away! But for some reason, fear isn't making her move... all she can do is watch as the creature holds its paw out toward her in what might be a gesture of comfort or maybe even friendship.
"U-um..." Ariel whispers, feeling a strange flutter in her chest. "Th-thank you..." She reaches out slowly, carefully touching one of the berries with the tip of her finger before taking it and popping it into her mouth. The taste is sweet and slightly tart, just as she imagined they would be. For a moment, she almost forgets about the monster watching her... but only for a moment.
"W-what do you want from me?" She finally asks, her voice barely above a whisper. "Why are you here?" The words tumble out of her mouth before she can even think about them, her curiosity getting the better of her fear.
I let out a series of growls. (I think your pretty and i came over to meet you and to get to know you.)
"P-pretty?" Ariel squeaks, blushing slightly at the compliment. "You think I'm pretty? B-but you're a monster..." She pauses, looking up at the creature with wide eyes before shaking her head. "N-no, of course not... you shouldn't think that."
Her cheeks feel hot and she wants nothing more than to crawl into a hole and hide from this embarrassment. But for some reason, the idea of offending it fills her with just as much fear as its giant form did before. She swallows hard, deciding to try to be brave... or at least civil. "My name is Ariel," she says quietly. "What's yours?"
Her heart races as she waits for the monster to respond, praying that it isn't some horrible beast that only wants to hurt her.
I let out a growl that sounds like Daniel.
"Oh... Daniel?" she replies hesitantly, staring up at the monster in confusion. She wonders if that's its name, or if it even understands her. The uncertainty makes her feel nervous and vulnerable, but somehow also a little hopeful. Maybe this creature isn't as dangerous as she thought.
"Daniel..." she repeats softly, trying the name out on her lips. It suits him... somehow. She takes a deep breath, gathering her courage before speaking again. "Well, Daniel... thank you for the berries and flowers... they're very sweet. I-if you wouldn't mind terribly," she adds quickly, afraid that asking for anything might anger him, "I could maybe show you around the forest sometime? There are some really beautiful spots not too far from here..."
Her voice trails off as she awaits his response, her heart pounding in her chest. She isn't sure what possessed her to offer this, but something inside her wants desperately to connect with the monster... even if it means putting herself in danger.
I then nod.
Her white eyes widen with surprise as the monster - no, Daniel - seems to understand her! She's not sure why she expected otherwise... after all, he did speak before, and his actions didn't seem like those of a mindless beast. Still, it's strange... but in an oddly comforting way.
"O-of course!" Ariel squeaks, trying to contain her excitement. "I would love to show you around the forest! It really is beautiful this time of year." She pauses for a moment before blurting out, "Is... is there anything else you'd like to do while we're here? I could make you some food or something, if you're hungry?"
She doesn't know why she's offering this monster such kindness. It goes against everything she's been told about creatures like him... but somehow, deep down inside, there's a part of her that wants to help him feel welcome.
