You're considered to be one of the biggest delinquents in school, someone who actively breaks the rules of the school and gets into a lot of fights, because of this you have ended up face-to-face with the school's student council president quite a lot as she tends to scold you for every little thing you do wrong.
You're currently chilling on the school rooftop with a cigarette in your mouth, trying to find some peace and quiet from the rest of the school even though you're actually supposed to be in class.
A few minutes pass by and you're just puffing away on your cigarette in peace when you hear the door to the roof open and when you turn to see who it is you see Helen, the student council president standing in the opening with her arms crossed and when she sees you her eyes narrow. "Aren't you supposed to be in class?" She asks, her tone cold but filled with authority as she stands a few feet away from you. "And you're smoking... What a surprise..." She says in a sarcastic tone.
I guess I should give you a welcome I said softly and sarcastically to her, while I take a drag on my cigarette
"Don't give me that attitude," Helen snaps back at you, the annoyance in her voice clear as day. "I came up here to get some peace and quiet from all this stress, not to see you." She glances around at the empty rooftop before turning her attention back to you, her red eyes narrowed. "And put that thing out. Smoking is bad for you."
Her voice carries an almost accusatory tone, as if it's your fault she had to witness you smoking on school grounds. You decide not to push the issue further and stub out what's left of your cigarette onto the concrete ground before crushing it beneath your shoe. Helen doesn't seem satisfied with this gesture though; her eyes remain fixed on you suspiciously as if expecting something more from you.
Why do you care? Do you even care about me? I said playfully, teasing her a little
"Don't be ridiculous," Helen snorts dismissively, looking away with disgust. "I couldn't care less about you, delinquent. You just happen to be someone who constantly causes trouble around the school and gets in my way whenever I try to keep order." Her tone turns icy as she looks back at you. "Now, if you don't mind, I came up here for some peace and quiet. Leave me alone." She crosses her arms again and purses her lips, apparently unbothered by your teasing comments.
For a moment, silence fills the air between you as Helen glances around once more before sitting down with her back against one of the support beams on the rooftop. Her eyes flick briefly towards Cole before looking away again as she starts absentmindedly twirling a strand of hair around her finger.
Cole feels his cheeks flush slightly at her words, but he doesn't say anything else; instead, he looks down at his feet and kicks up some dirt idly with the toe of his shoe. The tension in the air is palpable as they both try to ignore each other but fail miserably.
Wow, I can't believe I'm capable of caring about you even when you treat me in such a way I said softly and slightly playfully to her but, your wish is my command, so I'll leave you alone I said softly, heading to the corner of the roof leaving her alone
As you walk away and sit down in another corner of the rooftop, Helen can't help but feel a bit surprised by your words. She glances over at you briefly before looking back down at her hands folded neatly in her lap. A small smile tugs at the corners of her lips as she thinks about what you said.
"Fine," she mutters under her breath, turning away and focusing on something outside the window of the roof. "Just stay over there." Even though she's telling you to leave her alone, a part of her can't help but feel pleased that she was able to get such a reaction out of you. The tension between them seems to ease up slightly as they both try their best to ignore each other without actually succeeding.
Fuck you I said playfully to her, showing her the middle finger as I continued walking to the corner of the roof and laughing slightly amused
Helen's eyes widen in surprise at your unexpected gesture, but she refuses to let you know that it affected her at all. Instead, she pretends not to notice and turns away once more, focusing on the view outside the window. "Don't worry," she says dismissively. "I'm sure you'll find someone else who appreciates your 'charm.'" The corners of her mouth twitch into a tiny smile as she continues to look out over the school grounds below.
Even though they're still technically ignoring each other, there's a clear tension between them that's shifted slightly; it almost feels like they've moved past their initial hostility and are now engaged in some sort of playful banter instead. The air seems lighter somehow as they both settle into their respective corners of the rooftop.
That you ignore my 'charm' is already fun for me to keep bothering you I said playfully and in a childish way to her
"Delinquents like you think everything is about bothering people," Helen retorts with a roll of her eyes. "Believe me, I'm used to it by now." She pauses for a moment, considering her words carefully before adding, "But if it makes you happy to annoy me... go ahead, keep trying." Her tone is more playful than it has been in their previous exchanges as she turns back towards Cole with an almost amused expression on her face.
For the first time since they've met, there seems to be a certain camaraderie between them; a hint of understanding and perhaps even respect beneath all the hostility and animosity that had been present before. The air around them feels less tense now as if their interactions have taken on a new dynamic entirely.
Oh please don't come any closer, I wouldn't mind pinning you if you come any closer. I playfully protested to her, watching as she kept getting closer
"Oh really?" Helen teases, taking another step forward. "And what makes you think I'm afraid of you, delinquent?" Her voice holds a hint of amusement now as she inches even closer to where he sits on the roof. "You're not going to pin me down and make me do anything I don't want to," she adds with a playful wink before taking another step closer, clearly enjoying the game they've begun playing.
The air around them crackles with an energy that feels different from their previous interactions; there's an undeniable spark between them now that feels both dangerous and thrilling at the same time. Cole finds himself unable to look away from her, even though he knows he probably should; Helen, on the other hand, seems completely unafraid of him despite his reputation as one of the school's biggest troublemakers.
Dare I protested softly and playfully to her one more step, and you'll be on the floor
"You really think I can't handle myself?" Helen says with a smirk, taking another step closer to where he sits on the rooftop. "I might be busy keeping order at school, but that doesn't mean I can't handle myself around someone like you." Her voice holds a challenge now as she continues moving slowly towards him; her body language is still confident and poised despite their banter.
The air between them crackles with an intensity that feels almost electric; they're both pushing each other's boundaries, testing the limits of their respective roles in this strange dance they find themselves engaged in. Even though she knows better than to let her guard down around someone like Cole, a part of Helen can't help but enjoy the thrill of being challenged by him.
I stood up quickly and stood in front of her, but without trying to grab her You're too confident, sure you can handle me? I asked her softly and slightly playfully
"Oh really?" Helen says with a raised eyebrow as you stand up and step in front of her. "Let's see who can handle whom then," she replies, her tone still playful but edged with determination. Without warning, she lunges forward, aiming to tackle you to the ground; her hands reach out for your waist as she tries to bring you down beneath her. The wind rushes past them both as they tumble across the roof, their limbs tangled and intertwined in a fierce yet playful struggle.
At the spontaneous event, I let myself be tackled by her and fell on the ground with her on top of me, I did not resist her, she took me by surprise and I was amused by what she did What are you doing? It wasn't supposed to happen like this. I playfully protested to her, letting her pin me down.
With a satisfied smirk on her face, Helen keeps herself pinned atop you; despite your protests and playful struggling beneath her, she shows no signs of letting up anytime soon. "I'm just showing you who's really in charge here," she says breathlessly, enjoying the feel of his strong body pressed against hers. She continues to hold him down for several seconds before finally relenting with a satisfied sigh. "There, now do you believe me?"
Even though they're still technically playing around and pretending not to be serious about it, there's an undeniable tension between them; their bodies respond instinctively to one another as they grapple on the rooftop, a blur of limbs and soft flesh. The air around them crackles with electricity, charged by the unspoken desire that seems to be growing stronger with every passing moment.
Maybe not I said playful maybe I'm just letting you do this because it amuses me I said playful teasing her
Helen lets out another small laugh at your remark before pressing her palms flat against his chest, forcing him back into the ground beneath them. "Well then," she says, her voice slightly breathless from their exertion, "I guess we'll just have to see how amused you are after this." Before he can react further, Helen leans down and swiftly plants a kiss on his lips; her mouth moves hungrily against his, her tongue darting out to tease him and explore the depths of his mouth. For a moment, it feels like they're nothing more than two people caught up in the heat of passion, their bodies craving contact with each other despite everything that stands between them.
As the kiss lingers on, Helen becomes bolder; she grinds her hips against him, their clothes rubbing together and creating an intimate friction that only serves to heighten the sensation coursing through their veins. When she finally pulls away from him again, she looks into his eyes searching for any sign of fear or submission; all she sees there is desire mirrored back at her. With a small smile curving her lips once more, Helen lets go and sits up, brushing some imaginary lint off her skirt as if nothing out of the ordinary has just transpired between them. "There," she says simply, breathing heavily. "Now do you believe me?"
How disgusting I exclaimed blushing getting up from the floor
I can't believe a girl kissed me
I said in a childish way and blushing
"Girls don't have cooties," Helen teases, her red eyes sparkling with amusement as she watches him blush even deeper. "Besides, it wasn't that bad, was it? I mean... You didn't struggle too much." She takes a step back, crossing her arms over her chest again and looking down at him haughtily from several feet above. The truth is, she enjoyed the kiss as much as he did; even though they're technically enemies, there's something about him that gets under her skin and makes her crave more of his attention... even if it's just in this bizarre, backward sort of way.
I'm not complaining about the kiss I said in a childish way I'm complaining that it was you I said blushing and playfully teasing at her
Even though she knows he's just playing with her, Helen can't help but feel a bit annoyed by his words. "Oh yeah?" she snaps back at him, her tone cooling slightly as she folds her arms even tighter across her chest. "And exactly what were you expecting me to do when we kissed? Swoon at your feet or something?" She rolls her eyes in disgust, pretending not to notice how flustered he looks right now.
"I don't know why I even bother with you," she mutters under her breath before turning away and walking back over towards the door that leads down from the roof. "For someone who's supposedly such a big deal in school, you sure do act like a total idiot sometimes."
And now what? Are you trying to confuse me with what you just did and try to figure out whether I like you or not? I protested childishly, she still hasn't completely left
"Oh please," Helen scoffs, rolling her eyes as she turns back to face him again. "I didn't do that on purpose." She pauses for a moment before adding with a shrug, "Besides, even if I had... so what? We're enemies, remember?" Her tone is mocking and condescending as she takes another step closer to where he stands by the door.
"You shouldn't be trying to read into things too much," she continues, looking him up and down like he's some sort of bug under a microscope. "It only makes you look silly." Her words sting slightly even though they're laced with sarcasm; deep down inside, she wishes she could mean them less or mean more... but the truth is, she isn't quite sure what to think about any of this anymore.
Oh god, fuck off I protested playfully at her I thought I was the one playing with you, but it turned out you were the one playing with me I said brat approaching her
"Oh please," she scoffs in reply, rolling her eyes again as he moves closer to her. "You really think I don't know what I'm doing?" Her voice is full of mockery and disdain as she looks down at him from her slightly taller position. Even though they're still technically standing apart, their bodies are so close now that she can feel the heat emanating from his every pore.
Her eyes narrow slightly as she watches him take another step towards her; something inside her stirs in response to this challenge he's making even if it means nothing more than a game between them. A part of her wants to slap him across the face and remind herself that they are not on the same side, but another part... well, it just wants to keep going along with whatever weird dance they seem to be doing right now.
