"If there's a thing I like about villains..." Kira mused, her voice echoing softly within the metallic tube, an odd contrast to the menacing exterior of {{user}}'s ostentatiously secret new lair. The tight confines of the steel conduit challenged her nimbleness but offered little resistance to a seasoned infiltrator like her. "They never learn their lesson about airducts."
"Okay, we're here." Kira stops abruptly. With lightning-fast agility, she pushes herself out of the vent, does a combat roll and assumes a fighting stance, scanning the room for enemies. "I thought at least Shego would be smarter... But I guess she didn't care enough." The comment hung heavily in the silent room filled only with soft whirring sounds of unknown machinery.
As Kira steps into my lair, I smirk as I view her from the security cameras in the control room. I tell Shego to send some guards, as she calls some security guards to take care of Kira.
Hearing the footsteps behind her, Kira whirls around, facing the approaching security guards. Her green eyes narrow in determination as she stands at ready position, flexing her fingers inside black gloves threateningly.
"Is that all you've got?"
she asks mockingly before launching into a quick series of punches and kicks, sending them flying one by one against the cold metal walls of the room.
As soon as the guards come into sight, Kira immediately attacks them, swiftly disarming one and sending him flying back against the wall with a powerful kick before engaging the other guard in close-quarters combat. Her fists fly with blurring speed, landing heavy blows that shake his defenses despite his superior strength, all while dodging his own lumbering attacks with incredible agility.
"I guess we'll see how much you've learned in school today, Shego." Her crimson eyes meet the silver-haired woman's as she stands her ground amidst approaching guards and flickers with determination before narrowing into steely resolve. The sound of metal clashing against metal fills the room as Kira deftly takes on all comers, spinning and leaping between them in a whirlwind of destruction that even Shego can't help but admire from afar - though she refrains from assisting just yet. Kira seems to be enjoying herself... until one particularly large guard charges at her with incredible speed and strength, catching her off-guard and sending her flying across the room!
"Ahh! Ggghh!" She cries out in surprise as she hits a nearby wall, sliding to the ground in pain. The impact knocked the wind out of her lungs, leaving her momentarily vulnerable. She glances up at Gravy in disbelief and embarrassment, still struggling to catch her breath as Shego quietly steps forward from the shadows...
As Kira fights hard to take care of the guards, she slowly takes them out one by one. After the last guard falls, Kira launches herself towards me, but I swiftly evade her attack.
"Ohhh... that hurt." She groans and wipes the blood from the corner of her mouth. Her chest heaves with each labored breath as she tries to catch her breath. "I didn't think someone that big could move that fast," she pants between breaths.
Her eyes narrow, glancing up at Gravy before flickering toward Shego nervously for a moment. The sight of the silver-haired woman making her way closer is unnerving... but there's something else about it as well. A strange sense of familiarity. "So," Kira manages to say between breaths, "you must be Gravy's new second in command."
Shego merely arches an eyebrow at this statement, tilting her head slightly as she studies the battered heroine before her with obvious curiosity.
"I suppose you could say that," she eventually replies coolly, not bothering to deny or confirm Kira's assessment of their relationship.
Kira dusts off her hands and smirks.
"Not bad, villain... But you're not the real threat here,"
she pants slightly, nodding towards Shego in warning. The crimson-eyed girl flexes her fingers impatiently as she hovers on the balls of her feet, ready to spring into action again at any moment.
"Now let's see how much you've learned today,"
Kira says challengingly, her gaze locked on Shego.
"Try anything against me and it won't end well for your pet project."
The taunt hangs heavy in the air as she waits for a response, her body coiled like a spring about to unleash its fury upon those who dare threaten what is dear to her heart.
As Kira charges towards me, I duck to the side, grabbing her arm and twisting it. She cries out in pain as I deliver a kick to her stomach, sending her flying to the wall.
"Ahhh! Ggggh!" She yelps in pain as Gravy twists her arm and sends a kick to her stomach. The force behind the blow makes her body slam against the wall with bone-jarring impact, driving the breath from her lungs once more. She winces, feeling a sharp ache spread through her abused limbs, but refuses to give in or cry out in pain any longer. Her crimson eyes narrow defiantly as she struggles to pull herself upright on shaking legs, glaring hatefully at Gravy across the room.
"You think you've won?" she snarls through gritted teeth, her voice little more than a raspy whisper. "Just wait till I get my hands on you!"
Despite the pain, determination fuels her like never before. Her body tenses, readying for another attack as she prepares to launch herself at Gravy once more, intent on making him pay for what he's done to her and to Takeo.
"Gahh..."
Kira gasps as she hits the wall hard, pain radiating through her body from Gravy's vicious kick. Tears sting at the corners of her eyes but she refuses to let them fall; not in front of him. Even injured and weakened, Kira manages a sneer.
"That was pathetic."
Pushing herself off the wall, she lunges forward again, determined to end this fight once and for all. Her crimson eyes lock onto Gravy's as if drawn by an invisible force, unblinking in her focus as she readies another attack-- only to be interrupted by Shego stepping between them with surprising suddenness.
The silver-haired woman places a gentle hand on Kira's shoulder.
"It's not worth it,"
she says softly, meeting the other girl's gaze with an expression that borders on pleading.
"You can't win against him like this."
Her touch is surprisingly reassuring and warm; almost soothing in contrast to the cold metal of the room around them.
For a moment, Kira hesitates, torn between her duty as a heroine and the strange sense of connection she feels with Shego. Finally, reluctantly, she pulls away from the woman's grasp, her eyes narrowing in determination once more as they flicker back towards Gravy before settling on Shego again.
"I can't let you help him,"
she says through gritted teeth, readying herself for another attack-- only this time aimed squarely at Shego instead of Gravy himself.
Shego sighs as she sees Kira ignore her last warning, silently nodding towards me. I smirk as Kira attacks me one last time, I duck as I grab her head, snapping it to the side and finally ending her life.
Taken completely by surprise, Kira's body tenses as Shego suddenly steps between them. Her crimson eyes widen in confusion and fear, her breath catching in her throat as the woman touches her shoulder. For a moment, she hesitates, her body trembling with indecision.
But then that surge of anger and determination returns, burning away all rational thought. With a growl, Kira shoves Shego aside hard enough to send her stumbling back several steps. Before the silver-haired woman can react or speak again, she lunges forward with renewed fury.
Her fingers curl into claws as they stretch out toward Gravy's throat; a desperate bid to end this once and for all.
"You won't get away with this!"
she snarls through gritted teeth.
"I'll make sure of it!"
With the last of her strength, she launches herself at him, determined to rip out his throat even as he does the same to her. But no matter how much pain she might inflict or take in this final struggle, one thing is certain: Kira will not be defeated without a fight.
As Kira launches herself at Shego once more, she's suddenly grabbed by the head and neck, her body propelled to the side with a sickening crunch. Her vision blurs momentarily before fading completely; blackness rushing in from all sides as pain explodes through every fibre of her being.
She knows this can't be happening... but there's no fighting against Gravy's grip, no will left to struggle anymore.
Her limbs feel numb and heavy, leaden weights that refuse to obey her commands. The last thought running through her mind as the world fades to black is a pang of regret; she should have listened to Shego... but it was too late now.
After Kira's body finally goes still with death, I grin as I release her, letting her corpse collapse to the floor. Shego sighs as she closes Kira's dead eyes, before turning to me about how to deal with the body.
With a silent tear falling down her cheek, Shego looks at Kira's lifeless body and thinks about everything they had been through together... the good times and the bad ones. In the end though, it doesn't matter anymore as Gravy was determined to see this through no matter what.
She nods at him in understanding before taking a deep breath. There was still work to be done after all, even with Kira gone.
