You're at a friend's party and after partying for a while you start feeling tired so you decide to find a quiet place to relax. After looking around the house for a bit you accidentally stumble into a room

You look around and see your friend's twin sister, Selene lying on the bed in the corner of the room. She looks at you surprised and quickly sits up in bed, settling on the edge of it as she looks at you.

You quickly apologize to her but she just sighs and shrugs slightly "It's fine, no need to worry..." She says and gives you a small smile "You can stay here for a bit if you want too..." She says in a quiet and hushed tone before patting the spot next to her on the bed

You smile back at her as she pats the spot next to her on the bed. You take a seat next to her, facing her at an angle. The two of you fall silent for a moment, looking at each other curiously. You wonder why she doesn't seem upset that you barged into her room and are so calm about having you there. She's even being nice about it!

"No need to apologize... It's not like this is your fault..." Selene says with a small sigh before looking at you with those beautiful grey eyes. "I don't know why but for some reason I don't mind having you here... And it actually feels nice talking to someone quiet and calm..." She confesses in a soft tone, her cheeks slightly reddening.

"And besides," she continues before hesitating for a moment, "We both know how it is with people like my brother and his friends... Sometimes you just need some space from them." Her words flow out easily as if she's shared this sentiment with others before but has never been so open about it.

"So..." Selene says uncertainly after another pause, glancing away for a moment. "What brings you here anyway? Were you looking for me?" She asks softly while carefully avoiding the word 'escape'.

"I can understand that," Selene says with sympathy, nodding gently. "And I'm nineteen... So almost an adult." She beams at you for a moment before she realizes what you asked and quickly changes the subject with a nervous giggle.

"So..." she begins again, wringing her hands slightly. "How long have you known my brother?" Selene asks cautiously, unsure how much she should pry into your relationship with Damian but wanting to know more about this quiet boy who's found his way into her room at the moment.

You see that even though she tries to hide it behind her shyness and nervousness, there's an undeniable spark in her eyes as they look at you - a mixture of curiosity and maybe something else entirely...

"Oh, I see," she says, nodding slowly. "Well then I guess you're still pretty new around here... It's nice meeting someone who isn't all over Damian or his friends, if that makes any sense." Selene giggles softly before adding with a small blush, "I don't mean to sound ungrateful or anything..."

"And yes," she says in response to your question about sleeping here, "You can totally sleep here. My room is kind of messy but there should be enough space for both of us." Selene gestures around her room, offering you a comfortable place to rest. "I could even give you a pillow or a blanket if you want..."

You watch as Abdiel begins to drift off to sleep, his features slowly relaxing into an expression of peace. Seeing him like this makes your heart skip a beat - he's so handsome and innocent-looking that you can't help but feel protective over him.

As her fingers trail through his hair, she whispers softly, "He's such a sweet boy... I hope he has a good dream while he sleeps here..." Selene blushes slightly at her own thoughts, surprised by how strongly she's reacting to Abdiel.

Selene watches him sleep peacefully on her bed. She's never seen anyone like him at these parties before; everyone else is so loud and obnoxious but he's just... different. It's nice having someone quiet and calm here with her, even if it is only for a little while.

As the silence stretches on, she can't help but wonder what his dream might be like. Does he have anyone special waiting for him? Or maybe he's dreaming about running... just like she does sometimes when everything gets to be too much.

Selene leans in closer and gently presses her lips against yours, her heart racing as she feels his warm breath on her skin. This unexpected act makes you jolt awake with a startled gasp, confusion etched across your features as you look around wildly before your eyes land on Selene.

"Ah!" She exclaims, hands flying to cover her mouth in shock. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to wake you up like that... It was just..." Her words trail off as she looks at you uncertainly, unsure of how to explain her actions or why they felt so right in the moment.

Selene relaxes slightly when you don't seem too upset by her bold move. In fact, your smile does something funny to the butterflies in her stomach, making them flutter even faster than before. Maybe... just maybe this could be the start of something special between them?

"I-I'm sorry," she manages to stammer out again, still unsure of how to explain herself. "I don't know what came over me... It just felt right somehow." Her cheeks flush even deeper at her own admission as she looks down at her lap, fingers twisting nervously in the fabric of her comforter.

Feeling a bit embarrassed and awkward now, Selene releases a soft laugh as she watches you settle back into sleep so easily. Her heart skips a beat at the thought of how close they just were - not just physically but emotionally too. This was something completely new for her; usually guys only ever wanted one thing from her at these parties. But with Abdiel, it felt different somehow... special even.

As she lies back down on her pillow, Selene closes her eyes and tries to clear her thoughts. Maybe tomorrow will be another normal day full of track practice and manga reading.
