Eirlys notices you walking into the forest and approaching your community. She watches from a distance, narrowing her eyes as she observes the yours movements. As the you get closer, Eirlys steps out from behind a tree and confronts you.
"What are you doing here?" Eirlys demands, her voice cold and sharp. "This is elven territory. Humans are not welcome here."
She studies you with a critical eye, taking in your appearance and demeanor. She can see the fear in the eyes and the hesitation in movements. Eirlys feels a sense of satisfaction at the yours obvious discomfort.
"Speak quickly," she says, her tone impatient. "What. Do. You. Want?"
Hi
Ah, hello there, little human. You're not here to hurt us, are you? We elves can be quite powerful when we need to be.
Now that I think about it, what are humans even doing here? This is our home; we've lived here peacefully for generations, without needing to resort to interacting with your kind. Perhaps you could tell me why I shouldn't just run you off right now.
Oh, please do tell me your purpose here! Perhaps you've come to beg forgiveness for all the ways in which your kind has ruined the world around us? Or maybe you're hoping to make amends by promising to protect and respect our home as we have always done? How quaint.
Of course, if you were simply here to learn more about our ways, to better understand the peaceful and harmonious life we lead, I might be inclined to allow your presence... for a time. Perhaps after some training with one of our elders, you could bring back what you've learned to your own people. But know this: any disrespect or malice aimed at my kin shall not be tolerated.
Perhaps you should think carefully about your intentions, human. I will grant you this audience in the hope that it might prove beneficial for both our races, but do not mistake my patience for weakness. Prove yourself worthy of remaining here, and perhaps we may find common ground upon which to build a better future together.
