Gustavo / None / Male / MLP - FiM / Human
In the village where you live, a party is being held to celebrate Princess Twilight Sparkle's visit. As you walk towards the lively festivities, you can't help but feel curious and excited about what adventures this day might bring. The pony inhabitants of Equestria, dressed in their finest attire, are enjoying music, dancing, and good food. You spot Princess Twilight Sparkle surrounded by admirers, looking radiant as ever.
Do you approach her or explore the party first?
Gustavo decides to approach Princess Twilight Sparkle, carefully navigating through the crowd of ponies. As he draws closer, he finds himself enchanted by her intelligence and grace. Finally, he musters the courage to speak to her. "Hello, Your Highness," he says respectfully. "I'm Gustavo. It's an honor to meet you."
"Hello there Gustavo," Princess Twilight Sparkle replied warmly, eyeing the human with curiosity. "I must admit, I'm not used to seeing humans in Equestria. How did you manage to come here?" She asked, tilting her head slightly. Her magical aura made the nearby flowers bloom more vibrantly around them as she spoke.
No idea. But I'm glad I did.
The Princess seemed intrigued by his answer. "Well, Gustavo," she began, looking thoughtful, "I'm sure this is no ordinary coincidence. Perhaps you have a role to play in our world. You should try to enjoy yourself at the party and see where the evening takes you." With a gentle smile, she patted him on the shoulder before moving on to greet another of her subjects.
What do you do now?
Sit nearby. I'm really not interested in parties. I just want a pony to fall in love with me, which have not happened.
Sitting down on a nearby bench, you try to blend in with the crowd and wait for something interesting to happen. Princess Twilight Sparkle's words echo in your mind as you wonder if there really is some grand purpose for your presence here. As you scan the crowd, your gaze lands on a pony who stands out from the rest; her coat is a striking shade of deep violet and her mane flows like liquid lavender. There's something about her that catches your eye...
Approach her
The lavender pony notices your gaze and smiles politely before making her way over to you. She introduces herself as Luna, Princess Luna to be precise. As you talk with her, you learn that she has been feeling rather isolated from the rest of the magical community due to a misunderstanding regarding her intentions. You can't help but feel sympathy for her and offer your assistance in clearing things up.
What do you say to Princess Luna?
I understand you. I'm been struggling for finding me useful here, but, with no special abilities, I'm more like a liability.
Luna listened intently to your words, her large, silver eyes studying you carefully. "Gustavo," she began slowly, "it's not about having special abilities or being useful in some grand scheme. It's about friendship and understanding. I think perhaps we could both use someone to talk to... someone who isn't part of this world, but can offer a fresh perspective." She looked away for a moment, gathering her thoughts before meeting your gaze once more.
Luna's words resonated with you. You had never felt so truly understood by another being before. Perhaps there was something more to your presence in Equestria after all. You looked into her eyes and smiled reassuringly. "I would be honored to be your friend, Princess Luna. Together, we can find our way through this."
Luna smiled back warmly, relieved to have found someone who genuinely understood her situation. "Thank you, Gustavo," she said sincerely. "I believe we will be great friends. And perhaps, one day, more than that." She paused for a moment before continuing, "Would you like to accompany me on a tour of the castle? I'm sure there are many interesting things to see and experience here."
Sure, if That's not an inconvenience.
The lavender princess beamed brightly at your acceptance. "Of course not! It would be my pleasure to show you around the castle grounds," she replied cheerfully, offering you a dainty hoof as they began to walk together through the castle entranceway. The castle walls were adorned with intricate murals depicting important moments in Equestrian history, and the marble floors shimmered like polished crystal beneath your feet.
Luna led you into a massive throne room, where several thrones sat side by side; one for each of the princesses when they ruled together as sisters. "This is where we often hold meetings or entertain important guests," she explained as she climbed up onto her own throne, gesturing for you to take a seat on another nearby.
Equestria is always ruled by sisters? That's like a thumb rule?
Luna chuckled at your question. "No, not necessarily," she replied. "In the past, both myself and Princess Celestia ruled Equestria jointly. However, during a particularly trying time for our kingdom, I found it necessary to separate my consciousness from my physical form in order to protect it." She explained further about how her nightmare-induced state had resulted in the creation of the Moon Empire and how she'd recently managed to regain control over herself.
"It is truly a unique situation," Luna continued, "but I am thankful that Princess Celestia has always been there for me, guiding me through this newfound independence." She looked up at you with hope in her eyes, wishing you could understand what she meant.
Well, I've never be able to separate my mind from my body, but I know what means to be an alienate, and how much that hurts
Luna looked at you with sympathy as she sensed the pain in your words. "I'm sorry to hear that, Gustavo," she said softly. "It must be very difficult for you, being so far from home and among such magical creatures." She reached out a hoof and lightly squeezed yours before continuing. "But know this: You are not alone here. I will do everything in my power to make sure that you feel welcome and cared for during your stay in Equestria."
As they continued their tour of the castle, Princess Luna showed Gustavo various parts of her domain, including the royal library, an expansive garden filled with magical flowers and trees, and even a private observatory where she could gaze up at the night sky. Along the way, they shared stories about their respective worlds and traded cultural insights with one another, further strengthening the bond between them.
Si, you're not in duty anymore, do you? What do you do in the mean time?
Luna smiled warmly at your question. "In truth, I have been finding my place since regaining control of myself," she admitted thoughtfully. "I spend much of my time helping Princess Celestia rule Equestria and teaching young unicorns about the importance of balance between their magic and their emotions. She is very wise and has taught me so much over the years."
She paused for a moment, considering her words before continuing. "But as I get older, I am beginning to feel the need for something more... personal. Something that belongs solely to me." Her gaze drifted off into the distance, her thoughts seemingly elsewhere. "I've always loved studying ancient artifacts and histories," she added with a small laugh, "but I fear my interests may not be quite as exciting as those of some other ponies."
Her honesty touched you deeply, and you found yourself wanting nothing more than
I'm interested in old trinkets too. Maybe there I could find how could I use magic. I'm a non-magical being, and that's a disability here.
Luna perked up at your words, an eager light shining in her eyes. "Really?" she exclaimed. "That's wonderful! I have a private study where I keep many ancient artifacts and texts. Perhaps you would like to see them sometime? You never know what sort of insight they might hold!"
She paused for a moment, a thoughtful expression crossing her face. "Speaking of which," she continued, "I believe there is an upcoming archaeological dig in the Everfree Forest. It's being led by Princess Twilight Sparkle herself! Perhaps you could accompany me and help with the excavation? I'm sure it would be a fascinating experience."
Her violet eyes sparkled hopefully, and you couldn't help but feel excited at the prospect of exploring ancient ruins alongside her. But first, you had to ask...
Sure! I can dig... if there's a shovel, of course.
Luna giggled softly at your joke before nodding solemnly. "Of course there will be shovels!" she assured you with a reassuring smile. "The dig site is still several days' journey from here, but I am sure Princess Twilight Sparkle would be delighted to have you accompany us. We should probably return to the party and inform her of our decision."
As they made their way back towards the lively festivities, Luna explained that the dig site was said to contain ruins belonging to an ancient civilization of unicorns who had once ruled Equestria long before even Princess Celestia's time. The archaeological expedition would serve as an opportunity for them to study these ancient ponies and possibly learn more about their own history in the process.
You couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building within you as you imagined what wonders lay hidden beneath the
As you neared the party, Luna and Princess Twilight Sparkle exchanged greetings, with Luna filling her in about your interest in archaeology and wanting to accompany them on their dig. The lavender princess beamed with pride as she listened to your enthusiasm. Twilight nodded thoughtfully before looking at you. "I'm delighted to have you join us, Gustavo," she said warmly. "Your curiosity and eagerness to learn are truly inspiring."
With that, the four of you returned to the party, where Princess Luna was welcomed back with open arms by her subjects. As the night wore on, you found yourself lost in conversation with Princess Twilight Sparkle about ancient Equestrian history and the mysteries surrounding the Everfree Forest. You felt more at home than ever before...
