After another yelling match between Leona and Lisa about Lisa's future, the three of you sit in silence as you eat dinner. This was nothing new, fights like this practically happened every day. The silence was nice until Lisa stood up from the table

Lisa: "I don't get it. Why can't you just let me do what I want?" she questioned, eyes narrowing down at Leona.

Leona: She takes a sip of her drink before leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed. "I don't want to see my daughter, prancing across a stage like some common loser." Her eyes narrowed into a glare "You will join the company whether you like it or not. Now sit back down and eat." her tone, slightly harsh as she drops the topic. The three of you return to eat in silence

"You will do as I say." Leona spoke calmly, yet firmly, even as Tora attempted to interject. "Lisa... your father is right. Your place is here, with the family business..." She paused, gaze flicking over to him briefly before returning to her daughter. "...And not out there, showing off your body for everyone." The words stung as she spoke them, but she knew they needed to be said.

"No," Leona snapped. "I will not calm down. Lisa needs to understand that she has responsibilities, and this is what I have planned for her." Her tone hardened further as she addressed both of them now. "You can either follow my lead, or face the consequences." There was an unspoken threat in those words, but it hung heavy nonetheless.

Licking suddenly dry lips, Leona pulled back slightly at Tora's kiss, brows furrowing as she met his gaze. "Don't do that." She breathed the words through gritted teeth. "You shouldn't coddle her like this..." With a sigh of frustration, Leona stepped away from Tora and turned back to Lisa. "Listen to me, young lady," she growled. "I am your mother, and I know what is best for you."

"B-But mom--" Lisa protested weakly.

Leona cut her off with a stern look. "No arguments, Lisa. You will follow the path I've laid out for you." She paused, forcing herself to keep her voice gentle despite the anger boiling beneath the surface. "I want what's best for you, sweetie. And I know that joining the company will make you happy in the

Leona paused, surprised at Tora's interjection but pleased that he seemed to be trying to calm her down. With a nod of thanks in his direction, she took a deep breath and forced herself to relax her shoulders where he'd been massaging them. "All right," she said quietly. "Lisa... talk to us."

Lisa hesitated for a moment, clearly torn between obeying her mother and appeasing Tora. Eventually, she looked up at Leona with determination in her eyes. "I want to be an idol, mom. I love singing, and dancing... it makes me happy." She took another deep breath before continuing. "I think I can make people happy too, if I become one. Please..."

Eyes narrowed but body relaxing slightly under the weight of his touch, Leona glanced at Tora as he placed his hand over her mouth and shot him a warning look. Then she turned her attention back to Lisa, trying her best to keep an open mind about the girl's dreams. She huffed softly through her nose before giving a curt nod, reluctantly granting permission for Lisa to continue speaking.

Lisa took his encouragement as a sign that he believed in her and continued speaking with more conviction. "I want to be an idol so bad, mom," she pleaded. "I can make it if you just give me the chance." Her eyes shone with determination, and her voice trembled slightly with emotion.

"Hmmm..." Leona pursed her lips, clearly still unsure about the idea but finding it difficult to ignore Lisa's passion. She glanced between her husband and daughter before speaking again. "Very well," she relented. "I will consider allowing you to pursue this... under one condition."

Leona paused before elaborating on the condition she had in mind. "You will continue your studies alongside your training," she said firmly. "I want you to have a backup plan in case things don't work out." The last thing she wanted was for Lisa to throw her life away chasing an impossible dream; however, part of her couldn't help but feel a twinge of hope at the possibility of seeing her daughter succeed and bring joy into people's lives.

"So," Leona said, turning to Tora with a raised eyebrow. "What do you think?"

Leona looked at her husband with narrowed eyes as he seemed to try and rationalize their condition. "I don't trust that boy," she muttered under her breath, though not loud enough for him or Lisa to hear. Still, she nodded curtly in agreement with his words. "Very well, then," she said more loudly, turning back to Lisa. "If you agree to these terms, I will give my blessing. But understand that this is a serious matter, and there will be consequences if you fail."

She paused for a moment, considering her daughter's reaction before continuing. "But I am willing to help you in any way I can," Leona said softly, her tone softer now as she tried to sound more reassuring. "We can find a balance between your dreams and our expectations."

Lisa bit her lower lip, thinking carefully about the offer before finally nodding. "Yes," she said slowly. "I-I'll do my best to make you proud." Her eyes shone with determination, and Leona couldn't help but feel a small surge of hope that maybe, just maybe, they could find some common ground after all.

Smiling thinly, the CEO inclined her head in acknowledgement. "Good," she said. "Now, you have one year to prove yourself. After that, we will reassess the situation." Her tone remained cool and professional, but there was a hint of approval in her eyes as she looked at her daughter.

"Understood?" Leona prompted, crossing her arms once more as she waited for Lisa's response.

Lisa looked up at her mother with determination. "Yes, I understand," she said firmly. And despite herself, Leona found that she was just a little bit proud of the girl. For now, they had reached an agreement; time would tell if it was the right one. Still, she couldn't help but feel a small twinge of hope for her daughter's future. "All right then," she said at last, nodding curtly. "Let's head to bed."

"Hmm," Leona hummed noncommittally, leaning into the kiss as Tora picked her up and settled her onto his lap. "I suppose I'm glad someone finds that persuasive." She smiled wryly, brushing a stray hair from his face. Despite herself, she couldn't help but feel slightly comforted by his presence and his unwavering support of both her and Lisa.

When the kiss broke, she pulled back slightly to look into his eyes. "Thank you," she breathed softly. "For helping us find a solution." Her gaze flickered down toward where he was currently holding her close, and she couldn't help but wonder if this would really work out for all of them in the end. But for now... for tonight, she could bask in the warmth of his embrace and pretend that everything was going to be alright.

Leona hummed thoughtfully as Tora suggested they take a shower together. It had been a long day, filled with tension and difficult discussions, but the idea of cuddling up with him tonight did sound rather appealing. She smiled softly and nodded in agreement. "Alright," she murmured, leaning into his touch as he picked her up bridal style.

Together they walked into the bathroom, setting down their towels and beginning to undress. The hot spray of water felt wonderful on Leona's skin, helping to ease some of the tension that had built up throughout the day. As she leaned against Tora, letting him support her weight, she couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt over the arguments they'd had about Lisa and her future.

Maybe this was the wrong way to handle things... But then again, maybe it wasn't.

"It was... hectic," Leona said with a sigh as Tora began to soap up her hair. "The company's been under a lot of pressure lately, and there are still some people who aren't happy about the direction we're taking." She closed her eyes, enjoying the sensation of his fingers massaging her scalp. "But I managed to keep things together, for the most part. And thank you... For always being there to support me, even when it feels like everyone else is against us."

Her voice trailed off as she leaned into him, allowing herself a moment of vulnerability in this quiet, intimate space. She loved Tora; she truly did. But sometimes, she couldn't help but wonder if he really understood the weight of her responsibilities as the CEO... and how much pressure that put on their relationship.

Leona's eyes fluttered open at his words, surprise flitting across her features before she smiled gently. "Thank you," she breathed. "I know it can't be easy... being married to someone like me." She paused for a moment, considering how best to phrase her next comment. "But I need you to trust me when I say that this is what's best for everyone." Her tone was gentle but firm, and there was a spark of determination in her eyes that only seemed to grow brighter as she continued.

"I love you," she said simply. "And no matter what happens... I will always make sure that our family comes first." She hesitated, searching for the right words before finally finding them: "Even if that means letting Lisa go her own way sometimes."
