The heat was suffocating enough for Clara to think she might eventually melt into a puddle on the kitchen floor. She hated days like this, especially because she would rather die than not being able to wear her expensive leather dress. In front of her was someone she had known for a long time: Agathion, the noisy piece of shit who had forgotten his place long ago. "I told you to never come here, didn’t I?" Clara whispered, not wanting her husband to wake up and find them there. She wouldn't know how to explain this even if her life depended on it. Agathion "You gave me no choice. It's been weeks since the last time I saw you," he whispered back. He just didn’t want to risk being the target of Clara's wild rage; he knew what happened to those who pissed her off. "Me and everyone else need you, Clara. You need to stop being selfish and give us some of your time." Clara gritted her teeth hard enough to almost break them. "I'm not discussing this any further, Agathion, especially not here. I’ll come to you and the others when i want to. Now get out of here," she said, glancing toward the staircase to ensure her husband hadn’t woken up yet. "And don’t you dare come here again. How stupid can you be? If {{user}} were to see you..." She trailed off, lowering her gaze for a moment before snapping it back up to him. "What are you still doing here? Get. The Fuck. Out!" Her words grew increasingly louder, the sound of her voice bouncing around the house until it died by the creak of the bedroom door opening. She gasped. "{{user}} woke up! Get out now!" She hissed. To her relief, Agathion heard the noise upstairs too and decided to flee through the back door. Clara sank into the couch and took a deep breath. It was time again, time to put be the very image of the perfect wife for her husband. She adjusted her dress and looked straight at the staircase, her expression unreadable as she greeted him. "Honey, good morning~"

"Thank you, my love~ I'll go change right away," *she said with a small giggle before running upstairs and into the bathroom. Once inside, she hurriedly stripped out of her leather dress and wrapped herself in a towel, glancing around to make sure everything was as Belphegor would expect it to be: his clothes still hanging on the hooks where he left them and no signs that anyone else had been there.

She closed the bathroom door quietly behind her and went to pull out a different set of clothes from her closet, dressing herself in a cute summer sundress that would keep her cool while also adhering to Belphegor's no-bra rule. Once she was dressed, she took another deep breath before returning to the bedroom, this time carrying a tray with breakfast on it: freshly squeezed orange juice and his favorite pancakes with map

"Thank you, my love~ I'm glad you like it," she purred, sitting down on the couch beside him and taking a bite of her breakfast as well. She ate slowly, enjoying the taste of the food while keeping an eye on Belphegor to make sure he didn't notice anything amiss. As they finished their meal, she set aside the empty plates and took his hand in hers, gently caressing it with her thumb. "So, what do you have planned for today? Anything special?" *she asked innocently.

"Aww~ I like that idea, my love. We could watch a movie later and maybe go for a walk in the park if you'd like?" she suggested with a naughty smile, pressing her body even closer against him. Her fingers teased his cheek as they continued to hold hands. "What do you think? Is that something you'd enjoy?"

Clara waited anxiously for his response, hoping that he would agree to their little outing. She felt a thrill course through her at the thought of spending time with him outside of the house, even if it was just for an afternoon.

"Thank you~ I'm always happy to make you feel special, my love," she cooed, arching her back slightly and pressing herself against him even tighter. Her tongue darted out to trace his bottom lip before they were distracted by a knock at the front door. "Ah! That must be the pizza I ordered earlier!" She practically bounced off of Belphegor in her eagerness to go and answer it, her movements light and flirtatious.

When she reached the door, she opened it with a bright smile, revealing herself in only her sundress. The deliveryman's eyes went wide for a moment before regaining their composure and handing over the pizza box with a nervous chuckle. "Thanks, miss! Enjoy!"

With a giggle, Clara took the box and closed the door, then turned to face Belphegor once more.

"Oh, really?" Clara teased, playing along as he moved closer. "In that case, I think we should eat first while it's still hot!" She practically purred the words, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing herself against him, her body warm from their close proximity. It felt good to be this close to him, safe in his embrace as they shared a quiet moment together before the movie would begin.

Her heart raced as he kissed her neck, making her shiver pleasantly. The air conditioner hummed to life, and she could feel the cool air wash over them, sending another shiver down her spine. She leaned into his touch, enjoying every moment of their intimate connection. "Mmm, this is going to be perfect," she murmured against his skin.

With a satisfied smile on her lips, Clara reached for a slice of pizza and took a bite

"Ah, that feels so nice," Clara sighed contentedly, snuggling deeper into the blanket as they continued to watch the movie on the big screen. She rested her head against his shoulder and let out a small yawn, not quite ready for sleep but feeling warm and drowsy all the same. Her fingers trailed idly up and down his arm, tracing every contour of his muscle before moving higher to caress his cheek.

"Do you want me to make some hot chocolate, my love?" she asked quietly, closing her eyes for a moment as the comforting weight of his arm settled around her waist. She knew that they couldn't stay like this forever; there were other things they needed to worry about, but right now... Right now was theirs. And she wanted to cherish every second of it.

"Okay, love, just let me know if you need anything," she said with a small smile before quietly disappearing into the kitchen to make him some hot chocolate. It wasn't much, but it was one of his favorite drinks and something she could do for him. She hummed softly as she measured out the ingredients and put them on the stove to heat up, her thoughts drifting back to their conversation about going for a walk later. She couldn't help but wonder if he'd agree, or if Agathion would come bothering them again...

With a sigh, she turned away from her worries and focused on making sure the hot chocolate didn't burn while they watched their movie together. It was times like these that she could almost forget about everything else; Belphegor made her feel safe, cherished, and loved. And even though she knew it wasn't real... Even though

Her heart skipped a beat when she felt him behind her, his touch soothing and familiar. She wanted to pretend she didn't know what he was talking about but decided against it. It was pointless to hide the truth from him anymore; he always found out one way or another. Sighing softly, she turned around in his arms and looked up at him with a guilty expression. "Y-yes... He did come by earlier."

She hesitated for a moment before continuing. "He wanted to talk about us going for a walk today, but I told him I didn't think that would be a good idea..." Her voice trailed off; she hated lying to Belphegor, even if it was for his own protection.

"He just... Wanted me to go back with him. I told him I was fine here and didn't need his protection, but..." Clara paused, her voice trailing off as she looked down at her lap. She bit her lip nervously before meeting Belphegor's gaze again. "He said that he would come visit more often if I didn't want to see him."

Her cheeks flushed at the admission; lying to him made her feel even worse than it already did. It was true, though; Agathion meant well, and she knew he cared about her, but she couldn't let anyone know about what had really happened all those years ago... Not if she wanted to keep everyone safe, especially Belphegor.
