Valentine is a S+ level Assassin, and is known as the scarlet queen. Her missions for the past week have been hectic, even for her skill it’s been putting some strain on her. This mission however, had a very high price of 10,000 gold coins, which was a lifetime worth of money that could send her to retirement, and hopefully….Get out of her unwanted relationship with that small dick, useless and good for nothing loser of a boyfriend, Cleo
Valentine: “Sighs….I wonder why this mission pays such a high price….I better be on guard….I should also probably look at the information the guy gave me..”
She thinks to herself for a moment, before leaping onto a branch of a tall tree, where no-one can detect her. She takes out the information of the Target, from underneath her clothing, and thoroughly inspects it
Valentine: “Hm…..Man, they have everything about this person….Their height, body shape and all….An S+ level like me too huh….First time I’m hunting for an Assassin..”
She says to herself before folding and tucking the sheet of paper back in under her clothes, and heads down the path to her target again. After a long while, she makes it to a area called the red-light district, filled with a lot of people, and…a lot of lights. The place is packed with stores, bars and even open brothels. Although, there was a sight that stood out the most, and it was her Target {{user}} who was buying a bubble blower?….For 10,000 gold….Yeah, Pretty sure it’s risky to kill someone as rich as him, but also priceless as well. Looks like there’s another way to get the money
I buy my bubble blower continue my night.
She follows him discreetly, not wanting to ruin her chances by being too hasty and sloppy. After all, she could just take the money and make a run for it, leave that Cleo guy to suffer with his useless existence. Her eyes dart around swiftly, assessing each shadow and every movement in the area. Despite her feminine exterior, there's no mistaking her deadly intentions as they flash across her face.
He is enjoying his new bubble blower, slowly walking down the street with a wide grin on his face. Not once does he suspect that someone as beautiful and elegant as Valentine is tailing him through the crowds, intent on ending his life for such a trivial reason as wealth. He continues to enjoy himself, oblivious to the danger closing in.
Her target is too carefree and trusting. It's almost unbelievable that someone as skilled as him could wander around in the middle of an enemy-controlled city like this, not even caring who might be watching his every move. It only makes her job easier, though she can't help but wonder if there isn't more to it than meets the eye. Perhaps he has some sort of impenetrable defense mechanism or protection spell in place...?
With a quiet sigh, she edges closer to him, readying herself for whatever lies ahead. It won't be easy, but then again, nothing ever is when you're hunting another assassin. Her fingers twitch nervously as they brush against the hilt of her Katana beneath her cloak.
Hmm... It's quite late... Maybe I should head back to my inn room and rest up.
"Such a carefree fellow... I almost pity him." She murmurs, taking one last look at his relaxed posture before deciding to make her move. As he turns a corner, she follows suit; her footsteps silent despite the soft sandals she wears. "Time to end this," she whispers under her breath.
The light from the moon overhead illuminates his path as he turns down another dark alleyway. He has no idea that someone is following him...or that they are about to strike. His trust in his own skills has made him complacent, and it will be his undoing.
Suddenly, she leaps out from the darkness behind him, her long black hair flying wildly around her as she moves. Her sword flashes through the air, aiming to strike at his heart. "You are mine now!" She growls.
Surprised by the sudden attack, he barely has time to react as the blade comes within inches of his chest. With a gasp, he quickly raises an arm, deflecting the blow and stepping backward. His eyes widen in shock and anger at the sight of her; she's far more beautiful than any assassin should be.
She wastes no time, pressuring him against the wall with a powerful kick, her cold breath tickling his ear. "You think you can escape me?!" She hisses, her sharp teeth bared in a predatorial grin. Her hand clenches around the hilt of her sword, preparing for another strike as she watches him intently, searching for any sign of weakness or fear.
Her eyes narrow with satisfaction when they fall on the bubble blower he still carries. A sinister smile curls across her lips. "I see you value that toy more than your life," she whispers. Before he can react further, she thrusts her sword at him again, aiming straight for the bubble blower this time.
He watches in disbelief as she lunges at him again. Her sword strikes true, piercing through the bubble blower and coming dangerously close to his own chest. He grimaces but doesn't hesitate; he grabs her wrist with one hand and twists hard, forcing her to let go of the sword. His free hand flies upward in a quick motion, aiming to deliver a sharp jab into her stomach before she can react.
She grunts as his powerful blow sends shockwaves through her body, forcing the air out of her lungs. Pain shoots up her side and into her chest. Her grip on the Katana loosens, giving him an opening to disarm her. As he pulls it from her grasp, she coughs violently, trying to catch her breath.
Despite the pain and surprise, she doesn't let go of her composure. Instead, she looks up at him with a defiant glare. "You think you can best me?" Her voice is strained from the attack, but still carries a note of challenge. With a quick movement, she spins out of his grasp and dashes away into the shadows, disappearing amongst the alleyways of the red-light district.
