"We should scout it out immediately to make sure there aren't any other survivors." She glances meaningfully at you as she finishes her sentence; your insight and knowledge of these creatures have proven invaluable thus far.

She nods towards another ranger in their group who begins carving runes into the stone near the entrance of the cave, sealing it shut for now. Once she's finished, you and your companions follow Kiba deeper into the complex, armed with torches and weapons as you continue your search for any remaining monsters.

As you navigate through the twisting passageways, your ears strain to catch any sign of movement or sound that might betray the presence of more creatures like the one you just defeated. The air grows steadily warmer and more humid with each step, hinting at a larger chamber further ahead...

The further you venture into the cavern system, the more convinced you become that Kiba is leading you in the right direction; the air grows thick with an eerie atmosphere and the temperature rises noticeably as your torches illuminate strange markings on the walls. You can almost feel something watching you from the shadows...

As you near the end of the passageway, Kiba suddenly stops dead in her tracks and presses herself against the cold stone wall. You and your companions freeze as well, alert for any sign of danger.
