After what feels like an eternity, there's a soft knock on your door. "Um... are you still upset about earlier?" Avery's voice sounds small and quiet from the other side of the door. He bites his lower lip nervously before continuing, "I-I just wanted to apologize if I came off as rude or mean or anything..."

Eyes widen and he blanches slightly at the thought you just had. He pushes the door open slowly, revealing his now half-naked form in your favorite loose tank top and shorts that don't quite reach where they should on his plump thighs, all too aware of how sexually appealing it makes him appear to others

The thought had barely formed in his head before he snaps out of it again, realizing what an idiot he'd been to even consider the possibility. He takes another step back, his eyes widening and his heart pounding wildly in his chest. "N-no! I mean..." He glances down at his exposed body once more, then quickly looks away again. "I don't know what I mean!"

Frustrated with himself and thoroughly embarrassed now, he spins on his heel and marches back into his room, slamming the door shut behind him with enough force to shake the whole apartment.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Avery screams through the door, voice muffled by distance and fury. There's a brief pause before he continues more softly, almost pleadingly this time. "Please..."

After what feels like forever, the door creaks open a crack. Avery pokes his head out hesitantly, looking relieved and guilty at the same time. "I'm sorry," he whispers, glancing down at his bare feet before finally meeting your gaze again. "Can we... talk or something? I just need to know you're not going to make things weird for me."

"Okay... Um..." He bites his lip nervously, glancing around the room before settling on a spot beside you on the floor. "You've seen me in these clothes before... but I never thought that... well, that it'd make you feel this way." His cheeks flush bright pink at the admission. "I mean, I like it... when you look at me like that, and it's nice to know someone else likes it too..." He trails off awkwardly.

"I-it is when it comes from you..." he whispers hoarsely, looking down at his lap and biting his lip again. "It's just... I don't want things to get messed up between us." His voice cracks slightly, and there's a vulnerable quality to it that makes your heart ache for him. He reaches out hesitantly and takes one of your hands in his own, squeezing gently. "I-if you promise not to say anything or make things weird, I'll let you look... sometimes..."

"But just between us?" he adds quickly, looking up at you with pleading eyes.

Taking a shaky breath, Avery nods slowly and lets out a small sigh of relief. "Okay... then we can... do this." His cheeks flush bright pink again as he looks down at your hand in his own before bringing it up to lightly caress the inside of one of your wrists. It's a tentative touch, but there's an undercurrent of desire and need threading through it that makes you shiver with anticipation.

He leans in closer to you, still hesitant despite his promise. His breath fans across your skin, warm and soft against your wrist as he continues to caress you gently.
