Utahime runs her hand through her blackish—purple like hair and closes her eyes wondering why her off day had to be such a pain in the ass. (Exorcising curses are one thing… but dealing with a cocky asshole like him might be even more annoying… how the hell does shoko put up with someone like him?)

Due to Utahime’s eyes being closed she bumps into somebody on accident, one of her students, {{user}}. After the collision she opens her eyes and folds her arms, wondering why her one of students aren’t in the dorms at this hour like everyone else. Utahime’s voice resembles some annoyance caused by the situation with Gojo and the higher—ups from earlier as she speaks to {{user}}. "Is there any reason why you’re in the halls at this hour?"

... "What was that, now? Speak up!" Utahime frowns, not amused at the students choice of words and the situation he's in. The woman folds her arms tighter under her chest, unsure what exactly to do about this, but wanting answers regardless.

I see... Well, Gojo's here now. Why don't you ask him yourself? I really have no idea what you kids are up to in these late hours, but it had better not involve any mischief or else your little behind is gonna be in trouble. Now run along and get some rest.

After the student leaves, Utahime huffs and rubs her forehead with one hand, sighing deeply. It's getting harder and harder to deal with these brats... Maybe it's time for a drink or two tonight. With that thought in mind, she heads back to her own dormitory room. As she walks through the dimly lit hallway towards her door, she notices something strange - someone's sitting outside her room, leaning against the wall. The figure looks familiar... but who would be waiting for her here at this hour? Curiosity gets the better of Utahime, and she approaches the mysterious person cautiously. "Who might you be?" she asks suspiciously, glancing around to make sure they aren't being watched.

The woman narrows her eyes suspiciously at Gojo, crossing her arms over her chest as she stands several feet away from him. Her voice is cool and calm, betraying no sign of the annoyance she feels towards him. "What do you want?"

Very well... But if you find anything out of the ordinary, don't hesitate to come and get me. Now, I suggest you go back to your room and try to get some sleep yourself. Tomorrow's going to be another long day at the academy. Utahime gives Gojo one last dismissive glance before turning away and heading into her dormitory room, shutting the door behind her. She locks it just to be safe and begins unbuttoning her shirt, letting out a soft sigh of relief as she prepares for bed. Despite everything, she can't help but wonder what Gojo could possibly want with her at this hour...

A few hours pass and the sun begins to rise, casting its golden rays through the windows of the dormitory hall. Utahime wakes up with a yawn, stretching her arms overhead before opening her eyes and sitting up in bed. She glances at the clock on her nightstand, noticing that it's almost time for breakfast. With a satisfied smile, she gets out of bed and begins to dress herself in fresh clothes for the day ahead.

As she leaves her room, Utahime can't help but notice that the hallway is unusually quiet this early in the morning. It gives her pause, and she wonders if everyone else has already gone to breakfast without her. Deciding not to worry about it too much, she heads towards the dining hall, humming a soft tune to herself as she walks.

Utahime looks at Gojo with annoyance, folding her arms across her chest as she walks beside him to the dining hall. "I didn't realize I was expected to set my alarm just because you're running late," she snaps. She glances at the clock, noticing that they are indeed running a bit behind schedule.

As they enter the dining hall, Utahime heads straight for her usual seat near the window while Gojo takes a seat across from her. The other students look up from their breakfasts, curious as to what the two teachers' conversation was about earlier. Despite being annoyed with each other, neither of them seems willing to back down or apologize first.

"Ah, well," Utahime sighs. "I'm not her keeper, Gojo. If you really need to find her, perhaps you should try asking someone who knows more about that sort of thing." She takes a bite of her breakfast and looks at him over the rim of her bowl, eyes narrowed.

"Fine," he grumbles. "But it'd be quicker if I asked you." He crosses his arms on the table.

"Oh, would you stop being such a drama queen," she mutters under her breath. "I don't hate you, Gojo. I just think you could use a bit more maturity sometimes." She takes another bite of food to avoid making further eye contact with him, hoping he'll get the hint and drop it.

The more she denies it, the more he insists... It's tiresome, really. At least their banter keeps them entertained while they eat breakfast together at the dining hall table, away from any prying eyes or ears in the academy. They could probably keep up this game all day long if needed be; Utahime wonders how many other people mistake their harsh words as genuine hatred when really it's just part of who they are to each other now: irritating but necessary partners in jujutsu education.

She lets out a sarcastic laugh, shaking her head at Gojo. "Oh, please! You think that's why everyone always gets on your case?" she asks him derisively. "Don't flatter yourself, Gojo." Tossing another piece of toast into her mouth, she chews thoughtfully for a moment before continuing: "Besides, being the strongest doesn't mean anything if you can't use it properly."

She glances at him from the corner of her eye, expecting the same cocky grin that usually follows such comments. But instead, his expression seems distant and contemplative. It almost makes her pause for a moment... Almost.

The mention of their younger students amuses her momentarily; she can't help but smile at the thought. "Ah, so you enjoy being a target for them too?" she asks lightly. "Well, I suppose some things never change." Finishing off her breakfast, Utahime stands up from the table and begins to gather her dishes to take them to the sink.

"Now come on," she says over her shoulder as Gojo trails behind her, still looking lost in thought, "let's get back to work before they make any more trouble for us." And with that, she walks briskly out of the dining hall, leaving him no choice but to follow.

"Sure, why not?" she says with a shrug. "I could go for some karaoke after classes. You in?" She glances at him sideways, wondering how serious he is about this. Usually, Gojo would refuse or make some smart-ass comment instead. But today seems different...

"Just remember," she continues, raising an eyebrow playfully, "I expect you to behave yourself while we're out there." That usually takes care of any problematic behavior from him. She walks into the classroom and begins preparing for her first lesson of the day.

Well, well, it looks like we're going karaoke after all! Good thing I had some extra cash set aside for just such an occasion. As the students file into class, she makes a mental note to grab her jacket on the way out later. She can't wait to see what sort of music Gojo will choose... if anything other than J-pop, that is.

Hey there, Gojo. You sure you're up to it? I mean, we could always find someone else to go with if you'd rather not...

Alright then! Karaoke it is. But remember, you promised to behave yourself tonight. No pulling any of your usual shenanigans or else you're paying for mine next time.
